Nicole Scherzinger, who needs no introduction … a list of the 14 convicts pardoned by the President … carjacking suspect clubbed with frozen turkey … topping the most dangerous cities list is New Orleans; two Michigan cities in the top six … Spitzer’s hooker, according to another call girl, has a beautiful you-know-what … google is awesome, scary … lengthy but interesting: How the NYT covers the war …

It’s amazing what a few close (lucky?) wins will do for the bandwagon. (Indy Star)
Why are sports bloggers makings threats against sports writers? (Deadspin)

jmu is going down in the title game if its the 1-2 matchup against asu. rest assured app wont blow a 28 point lead and jmu wont make that kind of comeback on a neutral field
November 25th, 2008 at 8:05 am
Stay classy, Michigan.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:09 am
I was surprised to see the hatred for Josh Elliot in the ESPN Focus Group article. Currently, I have to listen to Stu Scott and Emmitt Smith do the highlights from MNF. On top of the stupid, “Here… we… go…” crap, Emmitt described a route as a “jig” route.
I’m guessing he can call it that but I can’t.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:10 am
What the heck is this? No Favre references?
November 25th, 2008 at 8:12 am
i was always much more worried when I was in Flint, rather than Detroit.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:13 am
…wrote the New York Jets fan.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:14 am
I was surprised to see Flint on the list. All i’ve heard about Flint is what i know from college hoops – it produces great college basketball players. I just assumed it was a regular hotbed of hoops. Never read and stories about hoops and gunfire.
CJ – Favre at 8 am? Not even Green Bay, Wisconsin can handle that.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:14 am
Oh the irony.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:15 am
Wire goes off the air, Baltimore drops out of top 10. Coincidence? Get back to it Marlo.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:15 am
i resent that comment, CRM! I’ll put on my Al Toon jersey and match Jets history (post 1985) with anyone. I just try to keep the fanboy stuff in check on here because, frankly, nobody cares.
Sometimes i just can’t help it, though.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:15 am
Michael Moore is from Flint. All he does is make documentaries and do interviews about what a shithole that place is.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:16 am
You either play hoops, or join a gang in Flint.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:19 am
Could you introduce her anyway, I have no idea who she is.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:20 am
i wish that fat douche would stop wearing a Michigan State hat.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:21 am

Are you saying he’s not an accurate representation? Brainsplosion!
November 25th, 2008 at 8:22 am
I’m just saying the bandwagon are similar for all winning teams. Not questioning your fanhood. What I should have said was:
Disrespect!

Gotta like ‘Cuse tonight over KU, right?
TBL — Jordan has been the best special teamer on the Eagles for a while, and the way he played on Sunday in that debacle… one of the few bright spots. He may not give that job back to Omar Gaither.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:23 am
Hey Hef.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:23 am
*strife
fuck, already I suck
November 25th, 2008 at 8:23 am
Never seen anything by more. Eventually i’ll give him a chance, but he’s somewhat off-putting.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:24 am
I was going to use a picture of her in the PM Roundup (Should have called shotgun) and was going to introduce her as “The hot/slutty one from the Pussycat Dolls (I think)”
Also, I visited the Detroit Zoo once.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:24 am
hef, it’s called Google Image. learn it. live it. love it.

November 25th, 2008 at 8:25 am
@billick, don’t worry, we’re still #2 in murders!
November 25th, 2008 at 8:25 am
unfortunately, he is. but he didn’t go there, but most people think he did.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:25 am
Hey Nick.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:25 am
Hey Clown.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:26 am
If I lived on LeBron Coast Time 3 time zones behind like Hef, I feel like I’d be so much more productive.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:27 am
Bowling for Columbine is great for a few laughs. The best part is about the only murder in Windsor, Ontario being committed by a guy from Detroit.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:29 am
Hi, everybody!
November 25th, 2008 at 8:29 am
fetch hated Bowling for Columbine. Talk serious or don’t talk at all. That’s the Canadian way.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:31 am
the Canadians were serious. They didn’t kill anyone.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:32 am
Good day to get back out on them corners.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:35 am
“When I saw Ashley’s p***y, I was overcome with the need to lick it, to devour it. And when I did, I didn’t want to stop—she tasted so sweet.”
best start to a day .. ever.
many thanks tbl.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:37 am
Hi, Dr. Nick!
November 25th, 2008 at 8:39 am
Sweet, now my “Detroit: No Place for Pussies” t-shirt just went up in value.
And TBL, while Michigan is a great place to visit and vacation (try the Traverse City area in the summer, spectacular), do not stop too long in Flint for anything other than a quick bite to eat at Halo Burger; and keep the car running just in case.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:44 am
I thought Chicago was the most dangerous City according to TBL.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:45 am
Understatement of the day!
November 25th, 2008 at 8:46 am
i am surprised West Bloomfield didn’t make the list. Gotta watch out for those Wabeek Gangstas.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:47 am
Michael More’s fine, but I always thought Sean Connery made a better Bond. Can’t top the original.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:48 am
Lance Moore > Michael Moore
November 25th, 2008 at 8:50 am
Amen, brother. Because of him I pulled a win out of my ass last night.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:01 am
It’s Michael Moops.

November 25th, 2008 at 9:16 am
for the same reason i got pissed as hell when you posted that DOGSHIT thing about lebron yesterday. adrian wojasdjfakl;sdjf;aski is a hack.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:21 am
that pussycat dolls chick isn’t good looking. she has fake tits and dresses like a slut, that’s all she’s got. her face is busted.
/i’d still bang her
November 25th, 2008 at 9:28 am
Solid opinion, bud.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:29 am
you had me at “tits”
November 25th, 2008 at 9:32 am
you had me at “she”
November 25th, 2008 at 9:35 am
Nick, I hit refresh before hitting submit. Avoided the embarrassing situation. But I was going to add “/RWH”
November 25th, 2008 at 9:38 am
I loved this line too, “I couldn’t be selfish as there was a client in the room.” I don’t think he would have minded. Seriously though, who goes down on a hooker, did your daddy teach you nothing (whats that, youre a hooker too, so youre daddy probably molested you).

How the NYT covers the war:
Report the hell out of bad news, ignore good news.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:43 am
there’s good news?
/i may wear birkenstocks and smoke weed, but im no hippie, believe it or not.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:44 am
How PurdueMatt comments:
Tells lies about the economy, spouts far right talking points.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:45 am
no, thank you for the kate mara photo.
PurdueMatt – You mean there’s good news coming out of the war? Like what?
John’s “her face is busted” was comical. Hey Bobby Redford, why don’t you tell me what bars you go into so i can see what a hot chick looks like
November 25th, 2008 at 9:49 am
Interesting. That’s the same way the Detroit Free Press covers Lions football.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:50 am
dude, you can use pictures of any woman in the world, but you’ve used that chick repeatedly. I’m talking about relativity. i’d bang her, but there are MANY MANY woman out there on the information superhighway hotter than her. and I live in DC, so i’d have a hard time telling you where there was a bar that was full of hot chicks.
/i’m more a paul newman
November 25th, 2008 at 9:53 am
What he said, minus the birkenstock thing.
Birkenstocks spencer? Really?
November 25th, 2008 at 9:55 am
birks are comfy…i go with the cloggy shoe things, not the gay sandals.
November 25th, 2008 at 9:59 am
Spence’s birkies
/true story
November 25th, 2008 at 10:05 am
JA – Agreed there are many women on the net hotter than her. we try to keep it just to actresses or singers or women who are famous here, as opposed to just T&A shots.
i know the DC scene well, having grown up there … i’d say the Waterfront in the summer is probably best.
November 25th, 2008 at 10:18 am
TBL: Al Toon is the only notable alum of my high school…unless you count me, which you shouldn’t
November 25th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Purdue Matt – what are your thoughts on this?
