Spurrier vs. Kiffin, Round I of Many
1-liner, College Football, Recruiting December 2nd. 2008, 2:45pmSpurrier vs. Kiffin: “Kiffin and former Gamecocks recruiting coordinator David Reaves called Tampa running back Jarvis Giles on Sunday and left him voice messages. Reaves, who is Kiffin’s brother-in-law, resigned from USC on Sunday to become Tennessee’s quarterbacks coach. Reaves had recruited Giles for the Gamecocks. Giles committed to the Volunteers before Phillip Fulmer’s resignation, and was thought to be down to USC and Nebraska as his final choices.” Welcome to the SEC, kid. (Joe Person on Football)

spurrier knows all too well to distract people from focusing on what a lousy job he has done in columbia is to call out a new sec coach.
he’s the head cock for a reason.
would be funny as hell is kiffin “accidently” referred to spurrier as “dan snyder.”

Jimmy…has Spurrier done a lousy job in Columbia? Not really. He’s won more games in a 4-year period than any coach in school history. He’s the first coach that’s taken them to 3 bowls in a 4-year period. He’s the first coach to beat Tennessee twice. He;s the first coach to beat Florida once.
He isn’t at Florida anymore. For SC, what’s he done is far from a lousy job.
