Can’t wait for Ballin’, I have to say this now – I have a man crush on Danny Granger.

Duke is a damn good team. Purdue doesn’t belong in the top 15.
December 3rd, 2008 at 8:09 am
That seems a little harsh.

purdue – save it for the duke post. in the meantime, will the auto jokers get their bailout?

Is that Patrick Swazye circa “Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar,” on the far left?

yeah, Granger is good. The Pacers still suck. Are they even .500? of course not

Also, watching Duke wax Purdue on its home court makes me feel so much better about SIU’s three early losses. One to Duke, where they played them almost even for the first 30 minutes. One to UCLA, where they did play them even for the first 30 minutes. And one on the road to WKU, who just beat Louisville and Georgia.

no more bailouts….unless the automakers plan includes chopping off about half their brands and ditching production of SUVs and Trucks for anything other than commercial use, fuck ‘em. Did anyone see the plans that they put forward yesterday…it was a joke. They dug their hole, let them file bankruptcy in it.

I hope Kiffin gives Hazelton a call.

What is this “strong nucleus” of which you speak? Is it a defense that’s been declining for the past three years but was covered up last year by Garrard’s miraculously only throwing three picks for the first 13 games? Or a running game where one of the backs’ legs are stuck in concrete? I’ll give you this, if they can get their offensive line back healthy they’ll have a shot at .500 next year. No Super Bowl anytime soon.

Doesn’t matter, they’re still heads and shoulders above any other team in the country.

“Prunty said he got to know Kiffin as a recruiter when Kiffin was an assistant at USC. “He’ll do a great job at Tennessee,” said Prunty. “He recruited [former Hargrave and current USC receiver] Vidal Hazelton.”

I agree bsanders, Jags have Mathis, MJD, and, ummmmm, crap. Not to mention an owner and fanbase who dont care about winning.

How many times are we going to hear from the Jax faithful that this is their year? JDR is quickly becoming the Norv Turner of the AFC South.
Keep wishin’ Jax, Im sure next year you’ll be picked to win the AFC along with San Diego and around week 12 you’ll be looking towards the draft.

Two pieces of required reading for the financially-inclined: Michael Lewis and John Cassidy.
TBL, I finally got around to reading The Millionaire Next Door — great case studies, but awfully redundant and a bit of an age bias.

Mike TBL linked the Lewis read yesterday. Good Stuff.

Tailback Broderick Green, an Arkansas native, said Saturday that he would transfer to Arkansas.

Sweet Reggie Nelson. I assume he’ll be all over it.

jack del rio is a shitty coach and it brings me great joy to see david garrard suck it up.
hey, on the bright side…cash strapped JAX only has to pay him $15 mil more that’s guaranteed! maybe if they keep him around for another two years, he’ll learn to throw a pass downfield.

My eye sight ain’t what it used to be, is the one on the left a tranny?
