I saw this movie on DVD a couple of years ago and Arnold was pretty cool on a DVD extra segment filmed right before his run for governor. He said he wasn’t actually serious about the cumming part, and that originally the producers planned for Lou Ferrigno (the 1970’s Incredible Hulk) to be portrayed as a villain and as Arnold’s rival. When they started shooting, everyone realized that Ferrigno was a really nice guy with a great story, so Arnold made himself into the villain and started making all those ridiculous statements. Arnold also said something along the lines of: “Of course I was smoking weed in the movie. It was the 70’s. Everyone did.” Good stuff.

If you’d like a transcript of this, get a hold of TBL’s high school yearbook. It was his senior quote.
