Put Aside Your Ohio State Bias For a Moment
1-liner, High School Sports December 4th. 2008, 10:30amTed Ginn Sr.: Regardless of your dislike for Sweatervest or Ohio State in general, Ted Ginn’s dad is good people. “A local football coach, he never went to college and doesn’t have any teaching or administrative credentials. Yet the school he conceived and runs, the Ginn Academy, is one of the most successful public schools in Cleveland.” (CBS News)

Thats like being the skinniest girl in Cleveland, I guess it counts for something, but probably not something to brag about.

Good guy. Buckeyes still suck.

Not related to anything, but I just thought I’d share that there are stories around here that, depending on how the Sun Belt bowl eligibility tie-in clauses are interpreted (will the bowl games tied to the conference be forced to take a 6-6 team), we are possibly looking at a UL Lafayette/Louisiana Tech Independence Bowl
And yet, “the bowl games would lose their significance if we had a playoff”

Remember that time he held his kid out of the National Championship so he wouldn’t hurt his draft stock.

Ted Ginn can still be nasty in the NFL. Pennington’s accurate but noodle arm isn’t helping him much.

I wonder how much $ the OSU boosters throw into this school.

CRM-LOL!
Spencer-Eventually that school is gonna get burned down. I mean it is in Cleveland therefore great odds.

Henne to Ginn next year? How would that play out?

Why, is the school in the middle of the river?
December 4th, 2008 at 10:47 am
we don’t burn solid things in cleveland, only our rivers and waterways.
i believe you’re confusing us with detroit.

Ball State is weak. They turned down the opportunity to play Boise State in a bowl game. It would have matched two undefeated teams in a non-bcs game. They said they turned down the game because they want to play closer to Muncie, Indiana.

Does Crawfordsville or Logansport have bowl games?

Coach K… I don’t blame Ball State for not taking a bowl in Boise, ID to play a road game against the Broncos on Smurf Turf. That’s a no win situation…
/It would be a great game though…

That is a beautiful place, I can’t blame them
