Michael Vick Was Extremely Generous with His Millions … Probably Too Generous
1-liner, Mike Vick December 8th. 2008, 10:45amMike Vick: “He bought six Paso Fino horses, worth about $450,000. He bought two boats, one for $100,000, the other for $125,000. He bought cars: a Bentley, two Land Rovers, Cadillacs, an Infiniti sport utility vehicle and an Infiniti sedan, two Ford pickup trucks, a Dodge, a Chevrolet, the $99,000 Mercedes.” He bought the mother of one of his baby mamas a Cadillac Escalade. “During his last weeks of freedom, though, Vick also spent $85,000 on a fish pond.” This is an absolutely staggering article. Will all of these things be waiting on him when he gets out?

use it or lose it. Way to keep it real.
Love this line: “Once the game’s highest-paid player, Vick now claims only a nominal monthly income from an investment account: $12.89.”
That won’t even get him ONE case of dog food

Wait…a young, poor man who knew little of the world used the millions that suddenly landed on his lap in a foolish manner? How could that have happened?
//sorry…had to go there.
BTW, isn’t this like the minute 35-40 part of a Behind the Music special? We’re finding out Michael Vick was scammed and used by the people around him. In the next segment, we get the “Redemption” part…hopefully.

Someone linked to a great sports illustrated article about Vick last week. It just pointed out how he always stayed ‘country’, and couldn’t say no to his circle of friends. Obviously this is not news, but the background was interesting

In all, routine monthly bills for the mothers of Vick’s children and for his own mother came to $31,293 — more than $375,000 a year

Well if it wasn’t for their horse, they wouldn’t have spent that year in college.

This is such a sad story. Someone given all the talent in the world was also given one dumb ass brain…talk about checks and balances. As a Falcon fan all I can say is the best thing to happen to ATL was Vick getting arrested. Now ATL has a better coach, better QB and a brighter future. What sucks is that I was a fan of Vick. He certainly had his limitations but when he was “on” he was amazing.

Finally, on Nov. 19, Vick went to a car showroom in Hampton, Va. He picked out an andorite-gray 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 sedan and, using his bank debit card, paid in full: $99,589.71.
Damn
The next line was even better: Then he drove to Richmond, surrendered to federal marshals and went to jail.
/way to show up stylin’
//fucking idiot for spending $100,000 on a “cab ride”
