RE: Mike Cameron to the Yanks. I don’t get the infatuation the Yanks have had with this guy the last few months(definitely better than Cabrera). Rumors are that he is very good friends with Sabathia. If this was to make CC feel more comfortable in the clubhouse, the Yanks never should have let Dough Mientkiewicz go after A-Rods record breaking season. He was the only real friend Alex had.

also, the yanks need a CF with range, im guessing. damon’s old with a bad arm, melky has a shit bat, and there was no way they were dealing for some of the best CFs in baseball.
shove cameron in CF and bat him 7th and expectations will be low, im sure.

I think Harrell did get the shaft yesterday. I’m not even remotely arguing that he deserved to win, but he at least did enough to merit the invite to NY (particularly if you’re taking Bradford and McCoy). I’m guessing he was hurt by not getting any first place votes since he won’t benefit from any regional bias (like Tebow).

While I agree that the photo has been doctored more than Michael Jackson, she still has a killer body and I don’t see anything wrong with her face. I think the thing that does it for me is that she seems to be a genuinely cool chick and that makes her even more attractive.

fuck, you guys made it sound like a FA pick up. i was thinking that the Crew picked up Cam’s option. i don’t like a trade for Melky. My point was Cameron is not the fielder he once was. that fucker completely misjudged a can of corn late in the season that lost the game for them. He did it again in the playoffs too. he seemed like a good team guy and still hits for power, so that is a plus.

He’s still only 23 and showed signs of being a decent hitter to go along with his defense. Having every atbat scrutinized while the rest of the offense was underperforming definitely didn’t help his cause. He could rebound in Milwaukee.

Hate the Cameron move, he’s terrible, will strike out 150 times and now the Yanks are too right-handed. I would’ve tried to pry Ankiel from Cards, he’s got a cannon of an arm (like Jay Buhner) and prolly wouldn’t have cost much more than Melky and another prospect.

Well, prokections in December are meaningless but I’d love Cano at 3, now that they may have Cameron they almost have to put him there. Nady isn’t gonna play fulltime, and have trouble believing Swisher is gna be everyday 1st baseman. I know it’s unlikely but how much sense would Texiera make for this team! Plus, the bench, or lack there of one is downright scary.
