crm, in that 2nd pic, are we supposed to stare at it until we see a spaceship surrounded by planets and asteroids?

Rod Blagojevich has to be the biggest idiot on the face of the planet. He makes Govenor Spitzer look like a saint. I’m surprised there wasn’t some piece of evidence showing that he threatened Lou Pinella after the Cubs’ abysmal playoff performance this year.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
Corey Hill is the UFC’s Joe Thiesman.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
still got nothing on that guy who inverted and dislocated his elbow at the olympics.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:26 pm
this post has been up to long.

No offense SG…but all Gov Spitzer did was diddle prostitutes and then prosecute the shit out of the brothels to cover it up..any one of us would do that to avoid telling the wife…Illinois is just living up to it’s hard earned reputation of crooked politics.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
too long/. fuck face
December 11th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
It’s true, we Illinoisans love to elect governors who head to the clink. If we can get our next one indicted, that counts as a streak!
December 11th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
Though in my defense, I wasn’t old enough to vote for either George Ryan or Corruptovich.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
Crooked state government? Yet another hardship the Colts have had to overcome this season.

I am squeamish. The warnings didn’t stop me. Because I’m an idiot. I now want to kill myself.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
Sanders you live in Illinois?
December 11th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
CRM
- Well not technically, since Illinois government doesn’t have any connection to professional football in Indiana. I appreciate the sentiment, though!
December 11th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
i think the last time illinois had a gov. who wasn’t locked up was jim edgar.
he was from central illinois (or as the chicagoians say, “a downstater.”)
any pol within a 90-minute drive of chicago is likely crooked.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
bsanders – I already owned up to my idiocy here. In conclusion: Boo-ya
December 11th, 2008 at 3:37 pm
I’ve got a crooked pol. My doctor says it’s hereditary.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:37 pm
Yep, Edgar was relatively scandal free. His press secretary was one of my journalism professors in college and never hesitated to fellate “the great Jim Edgar.” Compared to Ryan and Blagovernor, though, he really was a saint.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
CRM
- Can we still be BFF’s?
December 11th, 2008 at 3:40 pm
Did we ever stop?
/looks around to make sure an over-protective Hef isn’t reading this
December 11th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
Don’t worry, I’ll still only analyze Battlestar Galactica with Hef.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:43 pm
Hef’s going to be pissed.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
Who care, no one actually likes Hef. We’re just nice to him because his family controls Hollywood.
December 11th, 2008 at 3:46 pm
WTF, CRM? And with bsanders? Pull the knife from out my back.
/faints in despair

December 11th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
eastern illinois?
December 11th, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Jim Edgar was a good governor.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
Shouldn’t that have one of those /jmorris thingy’s?
December 11th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
Totally off topic, but who would you guys rather start in fantasy? Brees tonight or Favre on sunday against the bills?
December 11th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
And don’t say neither. These are my choices..
/nothing’d
December 11th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
You never sit Brees
December 11th, 2008 at 4:08 pm
Even against the Bears in cold and wind…?
December 11th, 2008 at 4:08 pm
he was, and in retrospect he was outstanding.
i know the chicago crowd hated him… daley i don’t think would even talk to him. but since it seems every gov. had been pinched since him.
off the top of my head i don’t recall anything edgar did that was so terrible outside of not genuflecting at the altar of dick daley.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
@guinessgirl- Brees
December 11th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
Wind isn’t bad today and trust me when I say that you can only know how bad the Bears secondary is after watching them all season.
Favre hasn’t thrown a touchdown in 2 games and even if the Saints lose Brees will still get his.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
Tough choice. The Bears defense can stop one or the other, but usually not both. My guess is they won’t be able to stop the pass tonight. If they play cover 2 w/the occasional blitz, Brees will kill them all night with slants. If they bring their safeties in, he’ll kill them with the deep ball. Either way, I see big numbers from Brees. That’s who I’d go with.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:12 pm
@diesel- give me some advice. Colston, Evans, or Vincent Jackson. pick two. i already have boldin starting
December 11th, 2008 at 4:14 pm
Hey Irish, I have Boldin too. Great pickup for me. Thanks for the advice guys, I’m off to happy hour now…
December 11th, 2008 at 4:23 pm
Brees.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
Damn you for going to happy hour, I need a drink badly.
Irish, that is a tough one as all three are similarly ranked this week. Gut feeling I would go with Evans and Jackson due to the really good matchups and being #1 targets. Colston I worry about because of all the other options on the Saints.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
If he was heavier, no way does that happen. This guy should be fighting at 185.
December 11th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
thanks Diesel. i was thinking of going with V Jackson
December 11th, 2008 at 4:49 pm
… And where the hell was I?
December 11th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
No problem, I like Jackson a lot this week
