At the risk of separating a shoulder patting ourselves on the back, The Big Lead reached a landmark over the weekend – the 100,000th visitor came by our site.

Baby steps, people. We’d like to offer a nerdy thank you to the readers who continue to stop by for breaking sports news, insightful (and comical) analysis, and the occasional, not-safe-for-work link to gorgeous women we love, such as the Noxema girl, Rebecca Gayheart, running around topless. Oh, and since it is Shark Week, you should know we really fancy sharks.

For those of you just joining us, it’s all fairly simple: We’re three guys operating an occasionally biting (sorry PK!), indisputably accurate (hopefully!), independent sports blog that frequently toils in restless mischief.
