We Missed It. Greece 101, Team USA 95.

Well, this sucks. Try as we might, we couldn’t quite stay up until 3:30 a.m. to watch Team USA vs. Greece in the semifinals of the World Basketball Championships. We even set an alarm! Must have hit the ol’ snooze. We made it slightly past the 3 a.m. mark, but passed out before the game started.
And it appears we missed a lot, as Team USA lost, 101-95.
Worst yet, the TiVO didn’t record the game. So we’re doubly fucked. We’re too groggy to attempt spelling any Greek names at this point, but here’s the plan: We’re going to nap for a few hours, get our bearings, and probably be back around noon, posting for the remainder of the day. (Two things we owe you: A roundup, and a Super Bowl champ.)
Busy week at TBL headquarters, and if you saw our fantasy football team, you’d know we were talking about (that’s not a good thing).
Oh yeah: Greece shot 63%; Team USA was an ordinary 32% from three; and shot a woeful, Shaq-like 59% from the line. Not quite numbers that will beat an efficient machine that has played together for years.
Let the trashing begin.

Yeah, I watched the whole thing, frustrating. I’m on the west coast though so it was only 12:30 am
