So Randy Johnson didn’t get the job done. The Yankees, lost, 6-0, and are on the verge of elimination. Tiger fans probably wish this were a celebratory photo of Kenny Rogers, but sadly, this is more about the Yankees than anything. The $200 million payroll, the outstanding regular season despite the absence of Matsui and Sheffield, and of course, that otherworldly lineup that is supposed to have pitchers begging for mercy before taking the mound.
