When Fans Challenge a Former NFL Quarterback’s Manhood
Uncategorized January 20th. 2007, 7:56pmThis video is about a year old, but judging by the miniscule number of views, the masses haven’t seen it.
A quick recap, because you’re going to want to watch it a few times, and don’t need to be slowed by our feeble attempts at humor: a crew of seven or eight dudes surround NFL analyst Sean Salisbury at some kind of Super Bowl event last year, and basically tell him he was a shitty quarterback, he’s a terrible analyst, and he steals lunch money from sixth graders.
Lots of funny stuff going on here, among the highlights: Salisbury strangely clasping his hands in what we can only attempt is a maneuver to keep his cool, Salisbury admitting, ‘You know what, I wasn’t very good at quarterback,” followed by, ‘he was a joke when he played!’ and the camera guy laughing to his buddies, ‘I’m recording this!’
This will probably conclude our extensive coverage of all things Salisbury because everybody needs a breather from this camera phone madman.

With verbal abuse like that, it’s no wonder he was trying to show captain winky to the ladies.

Can you publish a transcript? It looks awesome but I’ve tried to listed on 2 computers now and can’t make much out.

The legend of Senor Angry continues to grow. I would hate to be either of his daughters.

If there was no sign of the Salisbury steak, than this is just another notch on his resume of clownbootery.

Salisbury is just terrible in every way. His “analysis” rarely makes sense, he practically never answers questions directly (and remember, they’re usually — always? — in a controlled environment like NFL Live or SportsCenter), he’s WAY too cocky for someone who was terrible and the worst part is he pouts like a baby when he’s made fun of. I remember him getting picked on on the Dan Patrick show once and I thought it sounded like he was going to cry or start a fight.
He IS terrible and there’s no reason he should be an analyst…. and you see him explaining at the beginning of the clip that his job is to pick guys out and say “this guy has it” or “this guy doesn’t,” or something to that effect. The only thing Salisbury knows about football is that he wasn’t very good at it.
