The media response to Bruce Pearl’s shirtless, bodypainting display Monday night has been positively overwhelming. The former UW-Milwaukee coach sure knows how to win over the masses. We actually loved the stunt. It really showed us Pearl isn’t just a man who sweats through suits … but he is a man’s man, a guy who paints his chest orange and rocks a headband for the greater good of the school.
You know, he’s such a fantastic human being that if we worked with him and he traded up jobs from a mid-major to a major program, we would totally follow him. Can’t speak for really hot blondes on this topic … perhaps somebody knows one to ask? Maybe Bruce knows one?

After about 3 incorrect guesses, I think I was the first to throw out Pearl as the midwest coach. I’m sure anyone cares. Nobody? Damn.

wow. he painted his chest, got his face-time, and was gone by the 15-minute mark of the first half. of a WOMEN’S college basketball game.

Bruce Pearl has since revealed that he secretly tape-recorded all the conversations he had with fans in the student section, and will be submitting these tapes to the NCAA .

So that’s really her? I have to admit that after all the build-up I’m a little dissapointed in the final product. Let’s just say that I hope it’s the “charisma” that afforded her the opportunity to close the deal with both sports personalities.
