Pacman Jones Definitely Didn’t Invent Making It Rain … But Did Vince Vaughn?

You’ve seen Wedding Crashers. In fact, you can’t escape it if you have any kind of cable movie package. While watching it last night on HBO for the 38th time (Baba Ghanouj! Erroneous!), we couldn’t stop laughing at this memorable line from Vince Vaughn: ‘I was first team All-State. I can put the ball anywhere I want to. I’ll make it rain out here.€ He proceeded to get JACKED UP by one of the greatest movie pricks of all time, the Sack.
That’s when the light bulb went off over our head and we hit the pause button. Make it rain?
Sound familiar? After all, the line is Pacman’s new mantra. It’s also it’s our favorite new song (relatively new to our non-radio-having New York asses). Whoever said there were no dumb questions, please keep this in mind as we type … did Fat Joe get the phrase ‘Make it Rain’ from Vince Vaughn and turn it into a great song, one which will be forever attached to Pacman Jones?
