Two things about Tiger Woods officially becoming a Dad: first, he announced it on his website, and second, obviously his fuchsia shirt Sunday was an homage to the impending birth of a little daughter. Were totally giving him a pass on the pink and 2nd place finish at the US Open.

Sam has now become the luckiest child on this planet. June 19th, 2025 when she turns 18 and can officially inherit the money and all the unwelcome advances of desperate men.

HBCU-you’re a class act. Congrats to Mr. & Ms. Woods on the arrival of their little cub. I see a much needed and future champion for the LPGA tour. She’ll probably follow on the heels of papa.

Just a (jaded) thought, but I found it somewhat coincidental that the baby was born the DAY after the final round. my bet is that she was born saturday morning and tiger just kept on playing, announcing it on monday as to not come off as a jackass. does the smoking gun have this birth certificate????

I have a question…Why are people discussing the birth of Tiger’s kid like it is some universe altering event that will change Tiger and the way he golfs forever. The dude is a billionaire…do we seriously think he will be up for the 2 am feeding or ever change a diaper? I mean I am sure he will love and care for his daughter and all but why does this now change things? Is he the first athlete ever to procreate? Phil Mickleson has two kids running around no one says shit about that. Jack Nicklaus had like 5 and he seemed to do ok. Good for Tiger and good luck with the new family but people discussing this as momentus altering thing in golf are assholes.

Tiger and Elin,
I hope you get the privacy you deserve. I think you both will make wonderful parents.
I love to watch you play golf, Tiger. I don’t think you have to entertain us on the golf course. It’s up to the fans to be entertained.
The best to your little girl and when whe is old enough I’m sure Elin will have her at your tournaments. How can she not be beatuiful with both of you as her parents. God bless you all.

Dear Tiger and Elin,
Congradulations on your prescious little girl. “Sam” I like that. A long time ago I gave you a little crystal golf ball so that it would help with your putting. Needless to say I was speechless when you sent me a picture with words of thanking me for my thoughts and well wishes.
Since then “you’ve come a long way, baby” and we (Jerry, my husband) have followed your career ever since you turned pro. Not only for those you inspire but for all you do for kids.
