Just got back from seeing the Transformers. It was incredibly NOT awesome. It was the worst movie I’ve seen in the theatre in at least 10 years. Michael Bay just ruined my childhood for me.

Just a complete and total waste of time. It SUCKED.

I have a DVD of ProStars… Michael Jordan’s main attribute is his speed/hops, Bo Jackson has his strength, and Wayne Gretzky… is for some reason a stoner who just eats all the time?

Nick Arcade is incredible. The orginal Double Dare, with host Mark Summers and your announcer Harvey was cool, but it wasn’t until Family Double Dare that you got the opportunity to win a pair of British Knights. Then Mark Summers hosted a crappy knock-off, “What Would You Do”, that was sort of like Double Dare without an actual game involved, but it did have a pie-coaster.

And, of course, for all of us who ever invented a game in the backyard, there was Wild and Crazy Kids. Hosted Donny Jeffcoat, Omar Gooding (later starred in Playmakers), and one of the two interchangable girls. The all time best episode was when they filmed the whole show on location at a water park.

Nickelodeon also had ‘Turkey TV’, which I believe had Dave Coulier in it….
What about Mysterious Cities of Gold? Nick Rocks, the generic MTV show? Nick Arcade, where the people would run around and act like they were in the video game?
