It’s funny – Greg Oden has probably been interviewed roughly 5,198 times in the last two months. Not once did we read any interviewer asking him the serious question that everyone’s been wondering for over a year now: what is the story behind this legendary photo? Priorities, people!
The coolest female blogger we’ve had the pleasure of working with, Miss Gossip, landed a video interview with Oden and naturally asked him about it. Oden’s responses are rather priceless, and the old man really is growing on us. He’s a cool cat that Oden.

Click the link right under that for “video link”. I thought it was a Firefox thing, so I tried every browser on my computer before I saw that link!

Awesome to see Oden in a relaxed setting. He looks so stoic and machine-like on the court; interviews like these will go a long way toward selling jerseys and shoes that centers usually have a hard time with.

How do you not love Greg Oden after watching that? Also, whoever came up with “G-Od” for a nickname needs to be locked away with Linda Cohn.
