I’m laughing out loud and my son’s looking at me like I’m nuts. Great stuff!

I learned more about NASCAR in those 2 minutes than I have in 20 years of watching the sport. Great reporting, Onion.

Yawn. Nothing is more boring than Blue Staters who like to feel superior by making fun of NASCAR.
Racing is actually, you know, hard. You have to know drafting, fuel strategy, tires and motors. You need incredibly fast reflexes and endurance — drivers can sweat out 10 percent of their body weight during a race. Oh, and you also might catch on fire. Sure, there’s fat drivers. There’s also fat guys in the NFL and MLB. Doesn’t mean playing ain’t hard.
Have anyone here ever even been to a NASCAR race? Think anyone at the Onion ever has? Nah.
