This is what makes sports blogs so incredibly fascinating: Happenstance meetings with athletes can turn into outstanding blog posts. Friends go to the Bahamas. They run into Mike Bibby. A brief friendship is forged. And Bibby talks nonstop about how he will end up playing for the Miami Heat or Cleveland Cavaliers next season. And the point guard talks about how much he wants to be in Cleveland, presumably alongside LeBron James.
Raw and unfiltered. And awesome. Sorry, Sacramento.

Also, completely unrelated to sports, here is a movie trailer you absolutely must see (if you didn’t see it while watching Transformers). Anyone who is a fan of Lost will surely want to see the latest project from JJ Abrams. There isn’t much to go on, but to us, it looks like Blair Witch meets Lost. And that’s right in our wheelhouse.

Oh yeah, I’ve been a big Bibby fan since ‘Zona, (Miles Simon 4 Life) and would love to see him go someplace and take a team to a new level even though he’s on the downslope of his career.

Now that the money doesn’t really matter, players want to go where they can win a title. Bibby’s a good point guard, which is what Cleveland really needs so that could be a good marriage. If Bibby goes to the Heat, then he might end up with an old team, although Wade is there.

Bibby was actually working out somewhere in Cleveland before the Bahamas, he recognized one of the guys from the gym and invited them in his VIP area … pretty cool guy.

I thought the Cavs should have gone after Bibby last year, then maybe they could have won a game in the finals…
