Some week, huh? We’ll close it out to the Song Girls, frolicking in a lake a couple of weeks ago. Wet. And happy.

* Thanks to all the newbies who stopped by this week. Always nice to have an infusion of new ideas and comments. We set all kinds of traffic records, which is always nice. We’re fairly certain that we had a better week than: Rick Ankiel, Shaq, and most definitely Troy Glaus. You know someone actually said to us that Troy Glaus, based on what he’s done to date, is on track for 500 homers and a spot in the Hall of Fame?

* College football predictions (though we’re not betting until the bowl season … probably): LSU 31, Virginia Tech 6 … Texas 28, TCU 24 … Penn State 38, Notre Dame 10. We hear our pal Colin Cowherd is in Happy Valley for the game. With any luck, we’ll have video footage of him next week. The man is single, and PSU is always crawling with talent.

* We just got the new issue of Playboy from a friend of a friend and it’s a blockbuster: Alicia Machado is on the cover (that’s Bobby Abreu’s ex-fiancee who cheated on him during a nationally-televised reality show), an interview with Keith Olbermann, the NFL preview (New England over New Orleans), and girls of the SEC (10 jaw-dropping pages, led by LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, and Mississippi; Florida was not, but we know first-hand there is serious, serious talent on that campus).

Oh, and if you’re wondering where the heck the follow-up post is to this Michele Tafoya incident … we’re just going to have to do it Monday. Ditto for Darko.
