The Roundup: USC Sticks it to Corso, College Football vs. Tennis, and WAGs Rule

We only watched about 18 seconds of the VMAs – 10 of those were laughing at Britney’s terribly wooden and uninspired performance – but we reserve the right to toss up photos from the event all week … Kid Rock beat up Tommy Lee, which is funny … wow, things are really bad for Rick Ankiel when baseball’s biggest apologist takes a shot at you … we were away from the computer Saturday, otherwise, we would have been all over Michigan getting blasted by Oregon … when life as a McDonald’s worker becomes dangerous …

Wait a second… MTV Video Music Awards? They still actually give out awards? For music videos? Isn’t that like the Food Network giving out awards for the best books of the year?

Sure did forget the VMAs existed. I wish that joke of a tv station would go away.

Yup, it’s nose job Simpson.

It is good to see that coke and plastic surgery got Ashley’s weight to where it should be

That Britney performance was definitely must see TV. Her lip-synching was way off. She looked drunk. She was randomly wearing blue contacts. There were a whole bunch of cutaways to celebrities not knowing how to react. It was great.

Let me just reiterate what Cowher highlighted yesterday -
Mario Williams has more TDs than Reggie Bush and only 9 less yards.

hey tyduffy, at least she had two blue contacts.. The pics I have seen on Britney lately, she’s been wandering around with only one. While I’d probably still hit it, I bet it would be like sliding a hot dog down a hallway…..

Did anyone see the South Florida/Auburn game? Absolutely amazing game, South Florida’s kicker missed 4 field goals but hit them when they needed them most. The Big East is for real, I wonder what all the SEC lovers are going to say now?
September 10th, 2007 at 11:31 am
sources close to the program tell me that SEC lovers are saying Auburn is the 8th or 9th best team in the conference so the win doesn’t matter. it makes the whole thing even sadder. or more sad. whichever.

USF’s football program is only 10 years old too. Its no coincidence that their team has improved since Miami joined the ACC. Now USF gets all the partial-qualifiers that can’t get into Miami (and FSU) b/c of the ACC’s tougher academic standards. Then Leavitt coaches them up and puts them to good use.

The worst thing about Britney is that she has kids. It’s one thing for Lindsay Lohan to f*ck up her own life, but Britney is screwing up the lives of two people who depend on her. Awful…just awful.
That performance, while maybe not Michael Jackson kiss level, has to top at least top 10 creepy VMA moments.
