Put Him in a Bodybag! Theismann Done at ESPN
Uncategorized September 27th. 2007, 3:26pm
Honk* if you saw this one coming – ESPN has sacked Joe Theismann, Pro Football Talk has confirmed. It sounds like ESPN got sick and tired of paying him to do nothing, so they bought out his hefty contract. Will Jaws send Joey T a Thanks for the Memories card?
*Thanks, Tony!

It’s about time.
He was on the “Junkies” a couple weeks ago and he talked more about his prostate than football.

No, but the Vikings could use him.

Maybe he can join Norman Einstein’s think tank.

Had no idea Ron Hedgehog Jeremy was a paramedic in the 80’s.

So glad he’s gone. Theismann was a whiny, self-loving, know-it-all prick. I couldn’t stand him. I’d mute games he was on. THANK GOD.

I’d have trouble believing anyone in the country is sad that Joe is gone. Seriously. How can anyone miss this guy? He got by for years as a “legacy” at espn but his his days have finally come to an end…..good riddance

Of all the many stupid things Theesman has said over the years, the worst had to have been way back in the 90s when Doug Flutie was QB of the Bills taking on the 49ers in a Sunday night game, I believe. The camera crew showed a shot of the Flutie family in a press box and Joe made a comment about how Flutie’s son had his back to the field and how he thought it was odd that he wouldn’t want to watch his dad play.
Flutie’s son is autistic.
