Austin Scott: Just How Much Trouble Is the PSU RB In?
Uncategorized October 11th. 2007, 10:42am
Penn State’s second leading rusher, Austin Scott, was recently kicked off the team for an unspecified violation. It didn’t take long for JoePa to reinstate the fifth-year senior, but it doesn’t appear he’ll play this weekend. While Scott’s suspension is being attritubted to a “curfew violation,†there may be more to the story. According to some anonymous posters on the Morning Call’s website, Scott may have gotten himself into some deep kimchi. We’ve got no idea how accurate the comments are, but there are a lot of them, and seem to be from people he went to high school with.

Oh, those trusty posts.
Wouldn’t life be simpler if we all just posted our pains away?

That’s what I do.
That and drink. I’m big on self-medicating.

I heard he was driving too slow in front of Joe Pa. Never do that.

Not that this makes it more credible, but I was at the Penn State game this past weekend. The rumor floating around town was that he raped some girl, and was kicked off the team.

I heard at a club in Baltimore he was pregnant with another one of Matt Leinart’s lovebabies, but he was paid off to keep it on the downlow.

i heard he told joe paterno to “fuck off, this aint what you pay me for” when joe asked him to clean the stadium with the rest of the team.

Before my comment I should have checked to see if the Leinart post from yesterday was still up. It’s not. Smart move TBL.

I heard the same story that Dan-tastic heard, and it is very interesting to see that he apparently involved in an altercation with a female in a part of campus where the next day a sexual assault was reported, thats where that rumor got it’s legs. As I watch all of this stuff go down on the Penn State squad as a Penn State fan and student, I can not help to think that maybe it is time for Joe to go.

“Big deal he did a rape in his private life. His personal sex life should have nothing to do with how he does his job.
Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broadrick and did sexual harassment and he was the best President ever! His private life didn’t affect his job !”
Wow, just wow.

My roommate from college went to highschool with Austin, and I grew up in the town over and we’ve known for years this guy is a piece of crap. I’ve never seen someone with so much talent waste it. He was untackleable in highschool. The day Paterno showed up at his highschool, Scott skipped class and his principle had to go to his house and bring him to school for Paterno to meet him. Scott also lived with his coach while in highschool for a while which looking back at it, had to have been some kind of violation.
