When your career is crumbling, and you’re retaining lawyers to mount a TET offensive against he paper that helped shape your career, the last thing you need is … Keith Olbermann slinging mud your way. A reader has directed us to an obscure Mike & the Mad Dog message board item that somehow manages to blend some of the biggest loudmouths in TV today – Bill O’Reilly, Stephen A. Smith and Keith Olbermann – into a discussion. [Update: Lozo is the man. He found the evidence. If you look at this video, 90 seconds in, Olbermann floors Smith with a nasty right hook.]

Remember when O’Reilly was getting drilled for his idiotic remarks following a visit to a Harlem restaurant? He caught much flack for about a week, but apparently thanked Stephen A. Smith for offering him support (on the radio, we presume?) Olbermann, ever the pisser, opened his next show (according to this message board poster) with this rejoinder: “If you need the help of Stephen A. Smith, you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel …”

We’re not sure where the poster came up with Smith’s final line (radio?), but apparently, he said, “I am not a hard man to find. If he has a problem with me, come to me …”

Assuming this is all true – we don’t listen to or watch any of these three (except Olbermann on Sunday Night Football) – don’t you just love these ‘my-dick’s-bigger-than-yours’ contests?
