Nothing against “November Rain,” but seeing and hearing David Gilmour play the “Comfortably Numb” solo in Wembley Stadium while drunk off my ass, looking hot in a black miniskirt and getting felt up by two drunk Irish guys in the middle of 100,000 drunk English people will forever remain one of the best memories of my life.

“Comfortably Numb” has a legendary guitar solo, but I’m gonna have to go with the solo in “November Rain” as best ever. There’s a note near the end of the main solo that gives me chills every time.

Where did I say anything about college mascots? I was speaking strictly against Professional teams. I attended UND (one of the schools in question from the NCAA) The Universities are different because they actually have permission from the Tribes that they represent and I can’t speak for FSU, but UND has a large student population of Ojibwe and Sioux Indians. They actually have classes totally devoted to these tribes and their history and culture. What I am talking about is the pro teams who do not represent anyone.

We could discuss this topic all day long and we both could bring up examples for both sides proving our points. All I was saying was that if the American Indian had better representation, we as a society might think differently towards this issue.

pkiguy22- Wow, thanks for hitting us with this weeks version of “white guilt”. Next up La Raza heritage month.

Really, if Native Americans I.E. Indians, Braves, Redskins, Seminoles have a problem with it, than they will speak up.
Why is it anyones fight/argument other than Native Americans? It isnt, but when uppity, guilt stricken, fuhhgettaboutits start whining about OTHER peoples percieved feelings thats when problems arise.

Or, did you forget about the Seminole Indian nation of Florida speaking out against the NCAA ruling to ban Native American mascots? They let everyone know how proud they felt to have a University represent their cultural heritage, and they fought to overturn the ruling.

So pkiguy22, before you start talking for another race, and how YOU think THEY should feel, maybe you should stick to getting the Celtics banned for misrepresenting Irish Americans, or Pirates banned for having a white face representing thievery. Or how about you can stick up for you own kind, and ask the wizards to stop making fun of you and your harry potter book club buddies! Or was it the Magic that offended you and your Lord of the Rings pals?
