We’re weird about shaking hands – and touching door handles, and escaltor rails – and not just because of all those deadly staph infections that are rampaging through our society. It’s not that we’re germophobes … or OCD … but we do carry around hand sanitizer just about everywhere we go. At any rate, shaking hands can be a dangerous proposition … especially on the football field, at game’s end. You never know when some dejected punk is going to pull out a knife and start stabbing people when the teams are exchanging ‘good game’ and heading for the locker room.
