Man…you don’t know how many people I’ve had this discussion with. I say you put Emmitt, Magic Johnson, and Bill Walton in a pit together, and let them fight to the death. At least then only one of them will exist.

This is the same network that hired an illiterate(and, it turns out, perpetually stoned) Nate Newton, a coke addict(Michael Irvin), and a roided up ex-closer(Rob Dibble). Does it surprise anyone that Smith was hired?

You guys are on to something. If you remember, Young looked pissed off and uncomfortable everytime he had to be on screen with Michael ‘the cackling hyena’ Irvin. Irvin always had to touch his arm while talking. Young is probably sick of the ass clowns they put next to him so he opted out. I bet they pay him the same amount of $ so I’m sure he doesn’t care. And as bad as Emmitt Smith is, he could probably land a role as a TBS announcer for next year’s MLB playoffs.
