Boston’s Manny Ramirez Tries to Sell his Car on Ebay

It doesn’t look terrible, we’ll say that. The Inside Track describes it as “2006 Crysler 300M, SRT8″ whatever the heck that means (we haven’t owned a car in about four years). We did the whole “souped-up” car thing in high school – well, if you count throwing a couple subs in your parents’ trunk and getting a CD player – but once you have to work for actual money, you realize that stuff is a complete waste. Manny, however, is sweetening the deal – “… a trunk full of autographed items, a jersey, bat and ball, four tickets to a future Red Sox game and a meet-and-greet with Manny to talk about the car.” Some clown will probably spend six figures on this thing.

I’m going to do the same thing with my Ford Focus when it’s payed off.
I’ll be throwing print-outs of my blog in the truck along with a signed (by me) copy of Anacondas (Yes, the sequel) and a half empty case of Pabst. The buyer and I will finish the case while I listen to my STYX Greatest Hits tape on final time.

Depending on the mileage, the car is probably worth $70k alone (assuming the pimped-out wheels come with it, and I’m sure there are other upgrades). So $100k is not out of the question. It would be halarious just to listen to Manny talk about the car, “Yeah, you press this pedal on the right, and you go really really fast.”

Wow. TBL is so fucking superior to other human beings, who may 1) Own a car and 2) Customize said car.
Rock on, poor noble blogger.

You’re taking me back to the good old days CRM. I haven’t had a Pabst beer since I was 11 years old and Suite Madam Blue is the greatest song of all time!!

I would pay 100k for the meet and greet alone. In fact, Manny should just retire from baseball and sell meet and greets for the rest of his life
