Championship Sunday Schedule
Blogging, TV, UFC January 20th. 2008, 2:03pm
Here’s what I’ve got on tap for the rest of the day:
AFC Championship Preview post a little before 3pm.
A second half AFC Championship post around half-time of that game.
NFC Championship Preview post at 6pm.
Then I’m going to the bar to drink – and eat. I should be back sometime during the second half of the Giants-Packers game to hang out in the comments section.
Before I set all this in motion I have a couple items to share.
UFC 80 last night was crazy. Knockouts, blood, knockouts. The telecast featured 8 of the 9 fights. Generally you get 6 fights – maybe 7 in the 3 hour PPV. It was an embarassment of riches and probably the most fun card to watch that I can recall. Eternal Stench will be here tomorrow to run through all the fights when TBL is back in charge. I just wan
ted to share my enthusiasm for last night’s happenings with you.
TBL passed this on: David Wright is dating a model and Erin Andrews must be crushed. The model’s name is Molly Beers and a quick Google search revealed this picture —->
I don’t think that’s her. If you have any photographic evidence of Molly Beers, please throw the link in the comments for further inspection.
The Wire is on tonight. Since I’m a Time Warner subscriber, I have already seen the episode and can attest to it’s greatness. I’m glad it’s back, but I’m going to be depressed as all hell when it’s over in a couple months. Just look how somber Marlo and Snoop are.

Back in a few.

Totally agree about the UFC last yesterday.
I LMAO when Penn told Sherk, “You’re dead.”, and was licking Stevensons blood off his gloves. He is officially insane.

The Wire is simply one of the best series on television.
And the best part about the show is that there is hardly ever any resolve or closure…ya know, like a normal cliched show might have.
It develops thicker and thicker into the muck each season. That’s why I love this show so much.
