As a Steelers fan, I obviously don’t have a dog in this fight (wait, are we still aloud to use that phrase?). As one who never has had any love for the Dolphins, I really could care less about the “legacy” of the ‘72 team. But, still…am I a bad person–or at least a bad sports fan–if I root against the asshattery of the Bill Belichick Pats?
19-0 is a big story, sure. But, Bonds hitting #756 was also a “story” and I wasn’t particularly a fan of that one either.

i dont particularly care which team wins and im damn sure not going to watch just to see if the patriots win, superbowl broadcasts are notoriously horrid and theres usually some quality movie or show marathons on opposite to it. if they win and twenty years from now my kid asks me about it im sure ill be able to fill him in just fine without watching the game

Anybody that doesn’t want to watch the Patriots attempt to be the first team to ever finish a season 19-0 is not a sports fan. This is the greatest story in team sports in a generation. Whether you are rooting for them or against them, the Pats are an unbelivable story.

There is a difference between Tiki being overrated and Tiki being a cancer in the lockerroom. As great as his numbers were it is a case of addition by subtraction with him. They don’t even make the playoffs last year without his 200 yards the last game of last year against the Redskins.

Cuz, you are comparing “3 immensely TALENTED” RB’s with an “OVERRATED” Tiki Barber. those 2 capitalized words are judgements. and that would mean it’s an opinion. I will go to stats, like i mentioned before.Tiki had 3 straight 2,000 yard seasons. You mean to say that’s not being “talented” ?

Let’s face it. the Giants didnt have Super Bowl caliber teams when Tiki played. and to say it’s Tiki’s fault is terrible.
