ESPN’s Dana Jacobson Suspended for One Week
ESPN, Media Gossip/Musings January 23rd. 2008, 8:57am
The Chicago Tribune has the scoop – Dana Jacobson, who famously swilled alcohol and allegedly swore like a sailor at the Mike & Mike Roast in Atlantic City two weeks ago, has been suspended by the network for a week.
Sources have confirmed that Jacobson, a co-host of “First Take” on ESPN2, currently is serving a one-week suspension because of her behavior at a Jan. 11 roast for ESPN Radio personalities Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic at Atlantic City, N.J. While declining to confirm Jacobson had been suspended, ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said, “Her actions and comments were inappropriate and we’ve dealt with it.”
Makes you wonder if ESPN staffers will be on their best behavior at the Super Bowl next weekend, when the parties get notoriously rowdy, and camera phones are prevalent.
