The reader who sent this in didn’t say when it was taken, or where. Presumably, it occurred on campus. It is further proof that there’s no shot of Carroll leaving lovely SoCal for some drab NFL outpost where he’ll have to deal with wealthy babies like Chad Johnson or this cocky cornerback/wanna-be actor who is desperately seeking a SAG card. Sad.
Then again, the NCAA blows, so nobody wins!

There is no way he should go, but we all thought the same about Spurrier at Florida. He’s got money, weather, hot chicks all over the place, and a powerhouse.
The only thing neither offer is the NFL challenge for them to fail at (again!).

Of course he’s not leaving USC! Where else can you lose at home as a 40-point underdog with a backup quarterback, and still have ESPN grow enough cajones to claim that you deserve a share of the national championship?
