The SEC has some very good teams, but every year like 9 teams are ranked, and only 4 or 5 are really any good. But the beat each other, so all 9 have "quality wins", since they're beating ranked teams. And when one of the 4 good teams beats one of the ranked, but actually crappy teams, everyone loses their shit over how great LSU is (and they are actually very good) because of all the ranked teams they beat.
