Yes, it’s another photo of Romo and Simpson. We’re too sick to poke around, and the links to hot famous chicks have not exactly been flowing into our inbox today.

Man, Tony Romo seems to wear a hat every time he goes out…
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:38 PM
Tony Romo is the Miller Lite of QBs.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:39 PM
TBL: You should have outsourced the “daily hot piece of trim” picture.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:40 PM
If I were to make a $1MM donation to Oxfam, could I get a peak at those godzilla biscuits?
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:41 PM
TBL you could have gone with some Cavallari.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:42 PM
has there at least been a Romo/ Lachey run in?
that would be nice to see, so would some boobies
hottestgirls of myspace sounds good right about now
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:43 PM
Mike, by Cavalari did you mean the beginning of the comments?
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:43 PM
Um, wrong link.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:44 PM
That doesn’t even look like her for some reason.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:48 PM
Okay, the dad of the golf girls is whacked is a little crazed..and in my opinion I would take Nick over Tony..
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:48 PM
Semi-Pro is getting some bad reviews, but it can’t be half as bad as Vantage Point was. That movie was horrible.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:51 PM
Did anyone read the FAQ of the Scarlett Johannson eBay date?
Q: How long will the meet and greet last?
A: There is no set amount of time but it is estimated to be a brief visit due to Scarlett’s schedule that evening.
Q. Are travel and accommodations included?
A. Chauffeured car service to the premiere included. All other arrangements (including hotel, flight, additional ground transportation, etc.) are not included and are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Wow, that’s an expensive “date”.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:53 PM
pkiguy22 – what was bad about Vantage Point? I knew that movie was going to blow, just by seeing who was in the movie. A bunch of B/C level actors (I’m being generous there). But those commercials almost had me believing that it might be decent.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:53 PM
When I first went here I thought it was going to be a “best 32 states to determine the best one” instead of “best College basketball states”. I waqs about to write “Kansas, the state, deserves to be in the US State NIT. First round matchup: Alabama”
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:55 PM
@Guinness: I appreciate that. I’d take you over sportsgal.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:57 PM
i read Vantage Point was pretty good. i almost went to see it yesterday but was too hungover. instead, i just watched independence day, Bulletproof and Die Hard 1 and 2 on cable. maybe i’ll wait for Vantage Point on DVD.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:58 PM
I’d take Vanessa M. over Jessica
Vantage Point looks confusing as hell.
March 3rd, 2008 at 3:59 PM
the review i read said it was like the best episode of 24 ever. i don’t watch 24 but that comparison had me intrigued.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Tony Romo is the Danica Patrick of QBs.
/fixed
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:00 PM
The last movie I saw in the theaters was Transformers. I just wait for everything to hit DVD.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Q. Are travel and accommodations included?
A. Chauffeured car service to the premiere included. All other arrangements (including hotel, flight, additional ground transportation, etc.) are not included and are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Sadly, this eliminates the majority of our readers except for those in SoCal (assuming that’s where this crap is happening) and the extremely wealthy (that would be the guys who click on the ads to help us)
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:01 PM
i saw american gangster this weekend and was very disappointed with it. i do want to recommend We Own the Night. great movie
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:03 PM
i saw american gangster this weekend and was very disappointed with it.
Was it the theatrical release, the “Director’s Cut,” the “Extra Long Director’s Cut,” or the “Super Duper Extended Version?”
/too many DVD versions out there
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:03 PM
Damn I Netflixed We Own the Night. My roomates watched it before me and said it was terrible and that took away all my motivation to even watch it, I returned it today.
I also was disappointed in American Gangster, it was decent, not close to being great.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:04 PM
By brief they mean five to ten minutes.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:05 PM
@saprissa: Imagine groundhog day and add some action with a very hokey ending.
I have never seen an episode of 24, so I can’t say if it is comparable.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:06 PM
We Own The Night was beyond terrible.
Not as bad as Gone, Baby Gone, though.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:08 PM
Re: Vantage Point
Wife saw it over the weekend and said it was lousy. Premise (different views of same event) was promising, but then they abandon it midway and it’s just like any other movie. It’s a movie released after the Oscars and before summer blockbuster season–how good could it be?
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:08 PM
Irish, i couldn’t disagree anymore. i thought We Own the Night was terrible. What happened to Joaquin? He used to be a good actor? Now he just mails in every role i think. Eva Mendes has some night sweater puppies though.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:08 PM
The last movie I saw in the theaters was Transformers. I just wait for everything to hit DVD.
I’ve gotten to the point where if I’m not taking my nieces or nephews to the latest kiddie movie, I’m not going at all.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:09 PM
Damn Irish, coaches dropped Memphis to #3, behind UCLA.
UNC #1 in both polls. Bring on Duke Saturday, Lawson is back baby!
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:11 PM
@ benji- yes the sweater puppies were out in that flick. to be honest with you, i dont like joaquin as an actor. i didnt like the ladder 49,but i liked Signs with mel gibson.
marky mark is becoming a great actor i think
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:11 PM
i thought Gone Baby Gone was good. Finally the Afflecks found their correct roles. Amy Ryan was really good.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:11 PM
I saw American Gangster over the weekend (extended cut). Pretty good–reminded me of a lot of movies where the bad guy is made out to be sort of a good guy. “Blow” did a better job, I thought.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:13 PM
what are you serious, i was hoping we would be number 1 again. what a travesty. geez, i like UCLA though because Kevin Love is the man
memphis is # 2 though CBH in the poll that counts
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:13 PM
I don’t like Joaquin either. I would thought Gladiator would have been one of the best movies ever if I would have been able to stop laughing at him every time he showed up on the screen
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:14 PM
Saw Semi-Pro over the weekend – very disappointed. Only a few laugh out loud moments, most of it was just inane.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:15 PM
Waiting till video for Semi Pro
Will Ferrell might want to start thinking outside the box. Thought he was great in Stranger than Fiction, thought it was a very good movie too.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:15 PM
irish, I agree with you on the marky mark acting line. I watched 4 brothers on cable the other day and it wasn’t bad. His last 3 or 4 movies that I have seen have all been pretty good. I haven’t seen shooter but heard it was pretty good as well.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:16 PM
Walberg is a stud of course. He is a great actor. Joaquin needs to only take dark roles because that seems to be his one move. He was in a movie with Nicole Kidman where he played a troubled high school kid and he was awesome. It was about 10 years when he was a good actor IMO.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:17 PM
Sounds like every Will Ferrell movie. Let’s see: NASCAR movie, check. Ice Skating movie, check. ABA movie, check. I guess he’s doing a USFL movie next. Maybe he’ll play Lee Corso!
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:17 PM
Also, in regards to Will Ferrell movies, I have decided to not see them in the theatre any more. I think you have to watch those movies a couple times to pick ip on all the one liners. Either that, or maybe I should quit smoking left handed cigarettes before every movie I go see.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:18 PM
he’s got a baseball movie on deck probably. To Die For was the movie with Nicole Kidman.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:18 PM
i thought joaquin was good in gladiator, and got robbed by not winning best supporting actor that year. 4 brothers was a terrible movie.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:18 PM
@ ark- yeah i thought Shooter was good. tried to be a little like Bourne, but i thought it was decent. i loved the departed, great movie
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:19 PM
Good point ark, I would say 90% of the people I have talked to about Anchorman all had the same opinion, didn’t like it much the first time, loved it after multiple viewings.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:20 PM
I know a lot of people liked him in Gladiator. I just thought he was playing it like those bad actors do in those History Channel and Discovery Channel “reenactments.” But hey, he got the nomination.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:22 PM
I can’t think of a Marky Mark movie I didn’t like even a little bit. But, of course, I didn’t see that “Rock Star” movie (or whatever it was called)
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:22 PM
jpg, i never thought of it that way. great, now i can’t take his role seriously.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:24 PM
yeah the one with jen anistons hot piece of ass. god she is so hot
boogie nights is good with burt
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:27 PM
WF movies are always so-so the first time you see them. After you watch them a few times they become better and better. Truthfully, the only comedy I thought was great after the first viewing was Wedding Crashers. That movie was EPIC.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:27 PM
Just throwing it out there, but I saw Charlie Bartlett this weekend and that was a decent flick. I’d give it a solid B to B+.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:28 PM
is that the movie where they go in the bathroom for advice fan attic?
that preview looked good
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:28 PM
Whats Charlie Bartlett? Whose in it?
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:29 PM
I thought The 40 Year Old Virgin was funny the first time I saw it. But since you brought up Will Ferrell, am I the only person who thinks that he needs to scale down his movie promotions by about 90 percent? Either he or his handlers definitely have never heard of the word “overkill.”
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:29 PM
Eva Mendes is smoking hot.
Drool…
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:31 PM
Irish: yeah…that’s the flick.
Benji: the only name person it has is Robert Downey, Jr. who plays a convincing drunk. Imagine that. It also has the daughter from 40-year-old virgin.
It was a teen-angst movie but had some charm and a little different slant. probably a good movie for a date.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:31 PM
I’m grateful to America for rejecting Ferrell’s latest. The guy’s a genius…but he seriously needs to stop making the same movie. Maybe he’ll catch the hint now.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:32 PM
thanks fan attic, ill go see that.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:33 PM
is it the kid from the movie with Justin Timberlake? I saw that preview and thought it looked pretty funny.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:34 PM
Even 1979 Burt Reynolds says that Will Ferrell needs to stop making the same movie.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:35 PM
@benji: Alpha Dog? Yeah, that is the kid.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:35 PM
Eva Mendes is hot and in rehab so she likes to party.
40-Year-Old Virgin is my favorite comedy, I am not one of those people who can usually quote a movie but I can quote that one.
My roomate hates when I call it Charles Bartlett.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:35 PM
yeah, i checked and it is. That kid is not a bad actor. he was convincing in Alpha Dog.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:36 PM
I caught Alpha Dog on cable and thought it wasn’t bad.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:37 PM
i think its good. it pissed me off because i knew what was going to happen because its a true story. and i was thinking how f’ing dumb are you people. but i thought it was good.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:37 PM
my favorite movie of all time is Falling Down with Michael Douglas. i recommend that if you are having a bad day
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:37 PM
I’m outta here… Get well, TBL!
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:38 PM
I thought Anchorman was incredible upon first viewing.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:39 PM
i just netflixed it irish. it better be better than We Own the Night.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:39 PM
@Benji: Alpha Dog was insane. I didn’t know it was a true story till the end. I read up on it and come to find out the local DA is in some hot water for helping provide the movie with some details of the case.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:39 PM
which one benji?
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:39 PM
Haha, Falling Down is a classic, I keep wanting to be the Michael Douglas character from that movie, but I figure no one will know who I am so I planned on buying the DVD and carrying it around with me.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:40 PM
I like the first hour of Falling Down a lot. The rest, not so much. See ya as well.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:40 PM
I was in the same boat as Sun Devil in regards to Alpha Dog.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:41 PM
falling down.
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:42 PM
yeah you will enjoy it. let me know after
March 3rd, 2008 at 4:43 PM

Jordan’s Bulls would have beaten Bird’s Celtics
March 3rd, 2008 at 8:27 PM
R.I.P. Jeff Healey; a true guitar hero.
