FPL, floridas power company, uses solar power. it is supposed to be saving people money down here. Down in Miami, some FPL worker was doing some routine check on the nuclear plant and turned off the wrong switch.($12 doesnt do that well) so half the state of Florida was without power for almost 16 hours because of that. @dirty- i couldnt agree with you more on that statement about the Utiliy companies.
