TBL teammate, Patrick Imig sent along this item from the world of golf.

A pro named Tripp Isenhour was videotaping a show called “Shoot Like A Pro” on December 12 when some jerk started to cause a ruckus and just be a general pain in the ass. The culprit? An endangered bird.

From BRIETBART.com:

Isenhour got upset when a red-shouldered hawk began making noise, forcing another take. He began hitting balls at the bird, then 300 yards away, but gave up.

What the heck do you mean, “gave up?” That doesn’t sound like the Tripp Isenhour I know.

Isenhour started again when the hawk moved within about 75 yards, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer Brian Baine indicated in a report.

Isenhour allegedly said “I’ll get him now,” and aimed for the hawk.

“About the sixth ball came very near the bird’s head, and (Isenhour) was very excited that it was so close,” Baine wrote.

There we go, Tripp! Obviously he took some advice from Christian Siriano and got fierce.

A few shots later, witnesses said he hit the hawk. The bird, protected as a migratory species, fell to the ground bleeding from both nostrils.

They don’t mention if Isenhour ran over to the down bird and started pummeling it with his 3-wood, but I like to imagine that part was left out due to an editorial decision. Somebody get Scott Templeton on the golf beat.
