Why didn’t ESPN didn’t have Stanford-USC on their front page? Because the Pac-10 TV contract is with Fox. This isn’t the first time the “Total” Sports Network has proven that their website is nothing more than a promotional tool for their TV programming.

Except for the replay where one of the UCLA players had his left arm wrapped around Anderson’s back!

I actually don’t mind Shipp’s shot. I don’t know the rule but I say it should count if you’re in bounds and the ball doesn’t hit the backboard.

The no foul though was just ridiculous. Even if it wasn’t a foul, what ref doesn’t call a foul there!? haha…but I think it was actually a foul which made it all the worse.

1. there wasn’t a single replay that showed it was an “obvious foul”

2. the ball was clearly off anderson. that point isn’t even debatable.

3. did anyone really expect a ref to step in and overrule shipp’s shot?

Plus, UCLA got a turnover at the end that got them the winning bucket, where A.) the Cal player was obviously fouled, and B.) the ball looked like it went off of a UCLA player before going out of bounds. Second straight game where the home cookin’ carried UCLA to a win. I hope they don’t continue to get these ridiculous breaks in the tourney…

So T Piddy is now a lock to go to OSU? I bet Mo Clarett gets to be his alumni mentor.

USC just highlighted how overrated Stanford is. They have a couple other giant guys besides the twins, and yet they ended up shooting a lot of jumpers. Credit to USC, but sad for gambling . . . now Vegas will adjust the lines for tourney time.
