Baseball, College Basketball, Courts, Legal, ESPN, Media Gossip/Musings, Politics March 13th. 2008, 2:01pm
Can you ever go wrong with the Cruz sisters? Just missed: Patsy Kensit, Mel’s briefly-topless female friend in Lethal Weapon 2. Fun, but irrelevant: a blogger works near Spitzer’s call girl, and there’s bedlam out there.
Is Stephen A. Smith’s radio show in trouble? (Watchdog)
There’s zero chance this is true. Right? (Holy Taco)
Found: Erin Andrews’ Myspace page. (Joe Sports Fan)
ESPN the Magazine has hired a style director and is coming heavy with the fashion. (WWD, 2nd item via Romenesko)
Nice read on former Loyola Marymount star Hank Gathers. (Starting Five)
They got the bastards who killed the UNC student body president. (News & Observer)
Blog on blog action? (Why Don’t We Get Drunk and Blog)
Mind-numbing headline: “Kevorkian to try politics” (Detroit News)
Jermain Defoe’s secret with the ladies: Rose oil. (Unprofessional Foul)

Nice.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:05 PM
Which is the one Cruise banged, the one on the right? Sister is hotter, I think.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:07 PM

March 13th, 2008 at 2:07 PM
wow who would have thought that my big plans on wednesday night would make it into the papers…
March 13th, 2008 at 2:09 PM
@irish – Have you ever taken a look over there at JSF, they have some great fake MySpace pages. I partiularly like Clayton’s. Good stuff.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:10 PM
Mike, Cruise hasn’t been straight since he banged Rebecca Demorney in Risky Business.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:11 PM
UAB is about to lose to Tulsa, I would say their bubble has burst.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:12 PM
That Erin Andrews myspace page is priceless!
March 13th, 2008 at 2:12 PM
NO ONE IS WORRIED ABOUT STEPHEN A SMITH?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:13 PM
Stephen A. Smith is the Danny Bonnaduce (sp?) of sports. Both of them are always on TV and radio. I still can’t understand why.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:14 PM
Mike NYC….my problem with headlines is that they don’t tell the story….Obama says the guys says things he doesn’t agree with…not every person in your life agrees with everything you believe in…trust me not everyone in my life agrees with me (I am considered the off the wall lunatic)So a preacher at a church the guy goes to says some things that he doesn’t agree with…is he supposed to cut him off for life..is this guy his Vice Presidential candidate…It is just inflammatory crap that takes the focus off what people should be focusing on.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:14 PM
@bigtuna- i dont know why your nickname is familiar to me, maybe you told me to go fuck my self one day or something
i visit one other blog besides this and its not that site
as soon as i clicked on the site, i knew it was fake. im all mad because i thought it was the real thing
March 13th, 2008 at 2:20 PM
If I actually belonged to a Church, and my “preacher” was saying these kinds of things (did you watch the video?), I would find myself a new Church. Immediately.
Obama has been a member for 20 years. This is Obama’s “spiritual adviser.” He married Obama and his wife, and baptized their daughters. And he plays a formal role in Obama’s campaign.
What part of the story am I missing?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:22 PM
irish, that fake Myspace is hilarious. the comments are great
March 13th, 2008 at 2:23 PM
How long does it take them to make a fake myspace page like that? 2 weeks? A month? 5 hours?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:24 PM
Obama says the guys says things he doesn’t agree with…not every person in your life agrees with everything you believe in
Ask Geraldine Ferraro. WOW. HELLO.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:25 PM
I remember sneaking into the living room to watch Risky Business I was about 10. 30 mins into the movie my dad came in and watched it with me. I felt like such a lil perv.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:25 PM
great fake myspace page of Erin Andrews. Irish, you must have confused bigtuna with me – during the course of a few months, we both probably told you to go *(&%%$^&%$ yourself.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:26 PM
How long until Woody Allen’s movie where Scarlett and Penelope get it on? That will be a great day, dream big.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:26 PM
Yo Whitlock — you gonna send me some KC BBQ or what?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:27 PM
big nuts, you all WNBA
March 13th, 2008 at 2:27 PM
Irish, I agree. I’ve seen you and Big Tuna go at it on this site. I think he said Michael Jordan was better than Dwight Howard, and you got mad.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:27 PM
and yes, I got jokes !
March 13th, 2008 at 2:27 PM
@irish – No, I don’t think so. However, I don’t think the Magic have a chance to get out of the second round though, so now you can tell me to go $%&* myself.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:28 PM
RHW, I replied but my comment is “awaiting “moderation.”
That Erin Andrews thing is hilarious. And what did ever happen to Melissa Stark? She may have been even better …
March 13th, 2008 at 2:29 PM
Man, it must be the week for tight white dresses. First, Ivanka yesterday, now this.
Poor Lozo, couldn’t get some even when contractually obligated.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:30 PM
Mike, her career as a “real” journalist at NBC never panned out. I saw her on MSNBC and “Today” once or twice, but she has disappeared.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:30 PM
jason whitlock…send some to cleveland too, please. will pay cash.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:30 PM
@Irish, when TBL has an awards thread, you’re going to win “Most Likely to Pick a Fight with Someone Over an Obvious Misunderstanding.”
March 13th, 2008 at 2:31 PM
@bigtuna- ive had that pizza you mentioned yesterday..good shit
Orlando is going to the finals whether you like it or not
Gonzo- they looking for you still
March 13th, 2008 at 2:31 PM
Stark got married and had a kid or something
http://images.google.com/images?q=melissa+stark&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi
She pretty good.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:31 PM
Hef- you want to know what award you would win Hef, Most likely to jump inot other peoples conversation so i can think im cool as well award
March 13th, 2008 at 2:32 PM
she was pretty good…
March 13th, 2008 at 2:32 PM
HEF- you all WNBA as well
March 13th, 2008 at 2:33 PM
That’s a pretty fair assessment. Will there also be “inability to understand a joke” awards? Or “thinking everyone is talking about me” awards?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:34 PM
“Lame, repetitive, unclever references to the WNBA” awards?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:34 PM
@irish – That is the thing I miss most about Cleveland. Used to get that all the time.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:34 PM
just stop while your ahead..im mad at the fake Erin Andrews page
March 13th, 2008 at 2:35 PM
“Thinking everyone is talking about me”…that’s mine.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:36 PM
texas bellybuster…its on the list. im gonna smoke a big ol’ blunt and knock that shit out myself.
irish…you’d win the award for dwight howard knob polishing.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:37 PM
BTW…Anyone notice that “Jay The Most Hated” dude made a visit?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:37 PM
Irishmafia — what the *()%# does “you all WNBA” mean?
Damn &&%%$ retard. I guess I should refer to you as disabled…
March 13th, 2008 at 2:38 PM
maybe a couple GB’s to eat that whole pie spencer
everyone loves Dwight Howard on this site, they just dont want to admit it yet
March 13th, 2008 at 2:38 PM
412, I’d guess you’d get, “most likely to threadjack” or “first to post on every thread.”
March 13th, 2008 at 2:38 PM
@spencer – Texan Bellybuster. Texan is the type (bbq chicken), bellybuster is just the size.
Chicago deep dish is pretty damn good though.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:38 PM
Irish, go over to to hot chicks of myspace. that’ll get ya back in the mood. they did a piece recently on a former Eagles cheerleader. Buku pics there.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:38 PM
412…yea i saw that. i dont remember him tho, i dunno if i was commenting regularly at that point. what was his deal?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:39 PM
Jay stopped by and was incredibly racist. Anyone surprised?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:39 PM
&%$#@ Jay the Most Hated…but good to see him stop by after reading about the Honorable TBL on SI.com.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:40 PM
So lack of grammar and inflammatory racial comments was his schtick, eh? Sounds like fun.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:41 PM
People who are happy about being the most hated are the same ones who think to themselves, “if everyone hates me, I must be doing something right.” These people are all retards.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:41 PM
irish…of course some sort of bong rip would be involved, i barely eat when im sober.
bigtuna…werd, im all over it. i figured bellybuster was the size.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:42 PM
Yeah, I saw that and wanted to change my name back to get rid of Jay. And I’ll just accept my “most likely to blame the Kennedy asassination on ESPN” award now, thank you.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:42 PM
Hef, according to Dorn I am supposed to win most likely to post first, not 412.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:42 PM
Mike…The “awaiting moderation” is like being picked out of line at the airport…that comment might be really suspicious looking (really heavy on curses) or it could be like the little old lady who doesn’t understand whats happening to her…
March 13th, 2008 at 2:43 PM
almost as funny as a CRM post
March 13th, 2008 at 2:43 PM
Jay…thats some funny shit. now that i think about it, berman was leaving the book depository shortly thereafter.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:43 PM
Heh. I assure you, no cursing!
March 13th, 2008 at 2:45 PM
Roman…for all the sexual deviant shit, swear words and drug use i talk about, the only time my comment was ‘moderated’ was when i said, “lebron > kobe”
March 13th, 2008 at 2:45 PM
well at least i agree with you clown about the CRM posts
arent you late at Chucky cheese? i thought you worked the late shift clown
March 13th, 2008 at 2:46 PM
mldatx def would win creepiest avatar.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:46 PM
spencer…the only time it happened to me I was telling TBL that Mike Comrie Played for the Islanders so who the hell knows what triggers it..maybe TBL is just pulling the puppet stings with his massive guns
March 13th, 2008 at 2:47 PM
Only 30 more years til we find out who REALLY killed JFK.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:48 PM
I got a few “awaiting moderation” warnings after I pasted that 2girls1cup link a few weeks back. Man always trying to keep us down.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:48 PM
Spence just won “most obvious.”
March 13th, 2008 at 2:48 PM
Roman…yea, weird stuff. then again he did delete a comment of mine a few weeks ago.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:50 PM
Oh yeah…we learned that you can talk about vaginas and Asians, but you can’t talk about Asian vaginas.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:50 PM
Wikipedia has a nice line about why Stark left ESPN. I guess she was “spooning it out” just not to the right people.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:52 PM
It just happened again….
I was saying how I would get “awaiting moderation” if I included multiple links in a post. And, that my posts would disappear altogether if I used the word (spelled out…S O C I A L I S T). For some reason, that word triggers TBL’s censor.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:52 PM
Mike…your comment made it…my point is still this…he said one of those things in 2003 and the other after 9/11..now the 9/11 thing was not called for but Obama also wasn’t there when it happened…the God Damn America thing was more of a social riff than anything else…it doesn’t mean Obama had to agree with it…his role that he plays in the campaign has to do with his social initiatives and his Africa stuff…I have friends who think things that are off the wall that I trust with other aspects of my life..I take what I want and reject the other thoughts..I still value their friendship…and I am Catholic and I don’t always agree with the Homily my Priest gives every week it doesn’t mean I am going to run out of the church.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:52 PM
i, for one, find asian women to have the most aesthetically pleasing bearded axe wounds around…there was no hate in my comment at all.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:54 PM
spencer…you joke while funny was slightly racist…I can see TBL steering clear of that..I also saw Jay the most hated’s comment was deleted as well.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:54 PM
If you like it…it’s not hateful, right?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:55 PM
In all seriousness, I do respect that TBL doesn’t want this to get too raunchy or politically contentious.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:56 PM
@412: Me, too.
/Dick joke.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:56 PM
na, i knew i crossed the line.
but in all fairness to me (not an excuse), it was an actual quote my uncle told me at a family dinner.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:56 PM
The Erin Andrews myspace page is hilarious
March 13th, 2008 at 2:56 PM
especially now that he has a reputation to uphold. A real one, not a masked one.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:56 PM
Weren’t we supposed to have a TBL Tournament Pick’em sign up deal posted today?
March 13th, 2008 at 2:57 PM
That was directed at 412.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:57 PM
Roman – Even on that tiny avatar, I can see the huge gap between Strahan’s teeth.
March 13th, 2008 at 2:59 PM
Oh Mike…I should add…I cant get Youtube here at the office…the Holy Taco no problem..youtube..off limits..so I will watch the video later…but I think people put too much credence to every person in these candidates lives….we all know all sorts of people that do things that we don’t approve of or think things we are not down with…if everybody agreed or thought the same thing this world would be a shitty place.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:00 PM
here is whats funny with the avater..I can’t see it…I am happy to know others can…and spencer don’t sweat it…it was funny
March 13th, 2008 at 3:00 PM
Yeah, we’ve got to watch ourselves. It’s not like this is the friggin Steam Room.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:01 PM
what are all you Clevelanders doing for ST PATTYS DAY? Irishmafia will be in the city to take a big shit at Quicken Loans arena
March 13th, 2008 at 3:02 PM
The “reverend” is reprehensible, bottom line. And he’s Obama’s “spiritual adviser.” No wonder Mrs. Obama hadn’t been proud of her country until her husband started running for office . . . she’s been preached that message for 20 years.
And the video is in the ABC link if you can access it there – same as the YouTube one.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:03 PM
Don’t want to stereotype myself, but this is what is in the bottom right corner of the ESPNews Bottom Line right now:
Billy Crystal (NYY): 0-1, K vs. Pirates
March 13th, 2008 at 3:03 PM
irish…im gonna be working. i might head down to Flannery’s downtown or the Claddagh in Beachwood in the evening.
i hope youre not pissed when LBJ puts his wang on D-Ho’s shoulder.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:06 PM
hahahah, i dont know my brother wants me to fly up but i dont know. My other brother lives in Lincoln Park in Chitown, and i went last year for ST Pattys day and had a fucking blast
March 13th, 2008 at 3:06 PM
Mike NYC – I agree that it is troubling that Obama is associated with that guy. But, I’m also not terribly pleased that McCain accepts the endorsement of anti-Catholic John Hagee.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:07 PM
i was in chicago for st. patty’s day in 2002, it was a good time, better than cleveland thats for sure.
i wanna go to boston to celebrate it one of these years.
then again, im all of 0% irish so…
March 13th, 2008 at 3:08 PM
Colorado up 13 at the half on Baylor.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:10 PM
I hate Cleveland on St Patties day, but I’m usually working. All these freakin amateur drinkers getting drunk and stupid, very annoying. People puking on the streets and in the train. Very glad I don’t work downtown anymore.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:11 PM
Agreed – McCain pulled the same stance as Obama, in that he doesn’t agree with everything Hagee says.
The difference is that Hagee is not McCain’s spiritual leader.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:13 PM
Wow. If it wasn’t for the trainwrecks that are Oregon State and Northwestern, CU would be the worst major-conference team in college basketball
March 13th, 2008 at 3:13 PM
To quote Kent Brockman from the Simpsons:
“St. Patricks Day, when everyone is a little more Irish. Except of course for the Italians and the Gays.”
March 13th, 2008 at 3:14 PM
coop…amen. i had a great time last year tho, in the suburbs.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:14 PM
@Mike NYC: Sounds like you’re splitting hairs because you agree with the guy. Either they both get the benefit of the doubt or neither, no?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:14 PM
Jay, you’re right. I flipped to Oregon St./Arizona last night and it was 52-19 Arizona.
It made me wonder how Oregon St. would fair in the CAA, they certainly wouldn’t go 0-18 but I think Mason could easily handle them.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:15 PM
FINALLY! Some love for Monica Cruz! The Cruz Sisters are incredible.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:16 PM
south boston has their parade on sunday. the festivities start at 8 am (parade starts later). i must say, it’s a good time, although my memory gets a little fuzzy in the afternoon.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:17 PM
Agree with who?
For me, Obama gets the benefit of the doubt from Louis Farrakhan; same with McCain and Hagee. Similar situations. Both endorsed by two radicals that are outside of their control and influence.
Rev. Wright is a much different story because he is so close, personally, to Obama. Surely you can see the difference. If McCain attended Hagee’s sermons for 20 years, then I think you’d have a point.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:18 PM
Hate to threadjack here, but did anyone see the promotional pictures for the Lost episode next week (not tonight)? Warning Spoilers.
http://seat42f.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1780&Itemid=105
March 13th, 2008 at 3:19 PM
Mike…I watched the ABC news story…I can’t get the full sermons…but I will say this…I don’t agree with a bunch of it…but I do understand were he is coming from…the God Damn America speech was about how the black man has been treated my America over the last 50 years…the 9/11 speech was about the US Government’s role in terrorism around the world and was essentially anti-violence not anti-America..he did not seem happy about the death of Americans…truthfully this is not that crazy…he is over the top and theatrical and tries to get his point across with controversial statements…much like Falwell has, and Oral Roberts and Pat Robertson, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton…and according to that thing you linked Wright is one of a few spiritual leaders on a panel…Once again…you listen to all information and decipher what you want…it’s a non-story.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:20 PM
Because you agree with McCain. The same McCain who used to denounce Jerry Falwell until he needed the support of those Liberty University radicals so he showed up at his doorstep, hat in hand. Obama’s no radical. Obama’s more of a moderate than McCain is. This isn’t a real election between left and right, my man. This is an election between center and center (they just happen to have different letters after their names.)
March 13th, 2008 at 3:22 PM
I’m a week behind. Hopefully, the kids get to bed at a decent hour and allow me 120 minutes worth of “Lost”.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:22 PM
Maybe a full week of Monica Cruz and/or Penelope?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:23 PM
And RomanWarHelmet is right. They’re using excerpts from the entire sermon without showing his overall point. If I was treated the way African Americans were treated for the last 50+ years, I might have a few choice words about my government too.
And let’s not confuse government with the overall idea of “America.” Criticizing Bush is not the same as criticizing America. I’ve been fed that line since 9/11 and the fish ain’t biting.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:24 PM
Obama is somewhat of a blank slate in that he left a pretty think voting record behind from his days in the Illinois legislature and is still only a Freshman Senator. As much fun as it’s been (for me, as a Republican) watching the two tear each other limb from limb, this is why I’d like to see either Hillary or Obama emerge. When this happens, perhaps, we may start to have a real debate on the issues.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:25 PM
I have a newborn 412, so I usually have to DVR Lost and watch it Friday. I hate not being able to contribute to the TBL posts the last couple of weeks. I’m one of those viewers who refuses to watch any previews of the show.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:29 PM
Illinois and Penn State down to the wire on ESPN2
March 13th, 2008 at 3:31 PM
get a job clown
March 13th, 2008 at 3:33 PM
If you don’t have a problem with the gist his statements, and don’t think it’s relevant how close he has been with Obama, then we can agree to disagree.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:34 PM
I have it at work, rapist. Part of the perks of upper middle management.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:35 PM
Mike…I agree to disagree as well…
March 13th, 2008 at 3:38 PM
Ah, St. Patty’s day in Chicago… it’s the one winter/spring day where we practice our partying to get ready for the upcoming summer. I will be boozing at 9am and hope to make it until at least 2pm.
Irish, do you remember the names of any of the places you went to last year when you were here (Chicago)?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:39 PM
Fullerton/Clark is all i remember sportsgal
March 13th, 2008 at 3:40 PM
clown, your a joke on here
got find someone else to fuck with that will enjoy your poor humor
March 13th, 2008 at 3:41 PM
I don’t agree to that.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:41 PM
Ok, I didn’t make it that far north…
March 13th, 2008 at 3:42 PM
Hef, is that really you in that picture?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:43 PM
@sportsgal- its a really nice neighborhood, Lincoln Park. Plus Wrigleyville is close and that is always a good time
March 13th, 2008 at 3:43 PM
Since when does irish speak for the whole board? I think clown is funny.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:45 PM
what is your deal Hef? you dont like me thats fine, join the crowd
do i talk to you Hef, no because i cant stand you
so dont talk to me and i wont talk to you
March 13th, 2008 at 3:46 PM
Yes, irish, that’s me. I’m Buster Bluth. But you can call me Baby Buster.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:46 PM
Jay – My kids are pretty young as well (two 3 yr olds and one 22 month old), so I rarely get to catch “Lost”–or anything else–the actual night it is broadcast. The challenge is to avoid the a-holes who are all-too-quick with spoilers. These people do need a sharp rabbit punch to the nads.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:48 PM
irish – You offer some funny commentary and have forever enriched my life by introducing me to “godzilla biscuits”. But…you need to relax. Just a little. Really.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:49 PM
@412: I have a 7 month old. I recommend Nyquil. Out like a light.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:49 PM
An entire week of Penelope would be amazing.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:50 PM
But 412, are you going to watch tonight’s LOST episode?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:50 PM
@412, sorry man i just cant stand the guy.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
Lincoln Park is cool, I live in Wrigleyville so I prefer it to LP. Easier for me to make that 4am stumble home!
All this fighting is giving me a headache… can’t we just go back to talking about blumpkins?
March 13th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
Alright….gotta bolt. Lots of excitement today. We know who TBL is now. He apparently had a gay blog on CBS Sportsline at one time. And, apparently, he is black. Who knew?
Screw you guys…I’m going home.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:53 PM
really my friend lives in Wrigleyville, good stuff sportsgal. Its also okay to comment on different posts besides hockey. Get out more girl
March 13th, 2008 at 3:54 PM
Adios, 412.
March 13th, 2008 at 3:54 PM
screw you 412…drive that altima safe now ya hear

what the hell is a blumpkin?
March 13th, 2008 at 4:00 PM
As we learned yesterday…a blumpkin is when you get a BJ while sitting on the toilet.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:01 PM
I’m surprised my race means that much to everyone. If you must know, I’m actually of mixed ethnicity (ethnically ambiguous) and my family is from the Caribbean. I usually check the box labeled ‘other.’
March 13th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
TBL…it’s America…everything is about race…
March 13th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
I’m out there, irish, I swear! You must have missed the extensive blumpkin commenting I left yesterday on the “girl stuck on toilet for 2 years” thread…
March 13th, 2008 at 4:04 PM
I’m also surprised that everyone is surprised that TBL isn’t pearly white. Who gives a shit? All I care about is his awful taste in movies. I mean, really, really awful.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:07 PM
I am surprised people didn’t know (or at least those who have followed this site for a while) I believe he has alluded to it at different times…As I look at that sentence I wrote that like he has a disease or something who gives a shit…he still loves shitty movies….really shitty movies… but it Might explain the Mike Comrie thing.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:07 PM
Joe Sports fan should either find TBL’s Myspace, or create one of their own.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:09 PM
I can’t believe TBL is black vs. I can’t believe TBL is dying of cancer.
That’s what it sounds like. Are we a collection of jackasses or what?
March 13th, 2008 at 4:10 PM
Who gives a shit?
Yep.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:13 PM
As Buster Bluth would say, “Come on, you douche bags!!”
March 13th, 2008 at 4:14 PM
Where did this TBL race discussion occur? I completely missed it.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:16 PM
Well, you know the old saying: Once you go mixed ethnicity/ethnically ambiguous with a dash of Caribbean, you never go back.
Or something.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:17 PM
blumpkin? THATS PHENOMENAL!!!! great word to add to the everyday vocab.
TBL…to be honest i thought you were white. not that it would make a shred of a difference.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:17 PM
jayTheMostHated tried to start some stuff in an earlier post. But I missed most of it here. It must have been when I was on the Barry Bonds post.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:22 PM
What gets me about all this is that there was like 3 or four comments made about TBL’s race and 2 and a half posts worth of comments about his massive biceps…he chose to address the race thing…which is to cover up his membership in the NRA…he wants to keep those guns legal!
March 13th, 2008 at 4:23 PM
he cant wear long sleeves because NY doesnt have a concealed carry law
March 13th, 2008 at 4:25 PM
I always know where the beach is when TBL’s around. IT’S OVER THERE!!!!!!
March 13th, 2008 at 4:29 PM
Don’t give her the weight room bit, Tommy.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:31 PM
Speaking of “no one’s looking.” [zip]
How could you be working on tomorrow’s work when your briefcase is way over here? Hmmm…
Richard, who’s your favorite Little Rascal? Was it Alfalfa? Or was it Spanky? Sinner.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:32 PM
Is your favorite team..the Yankees?
March 13th, 2008 at 4:36 PM
What’s that comedian’s name…Buddy WhackIt?
March 13th, 2008 at 4:37 PM

March 13th, 2008 at 4:38 PM
It doesn’t hurt here so much. Or here. But right here.
I thought I hit you in the shoulder.
March 13th, 2008 at 4:44 PM

March 13th, 2008 at 4:54 PM
Anytime you’re ready, I’m up for the challenge. Have fun hitting your balls.
March 13th, 2008 at 5:37 PM
Ummm…is the TBL being black a running joke or something? No offense to anyone, but he doesn’t look black AT ALL in the SI pic. I’m sure I’m missing something.
March 13th, 2008 at 9:08 PM
TBL – I’m sorry for the poor attempt at humor. Truth be told, I could not possibly care about anyone’s race. I was merely making a reference to the imbecile (Most Hated Jay) who posted the racial shit in another thread (which you’ve since deleted). Unless someone were reading every single posting today, which I did (slow day at work), you would have no idea that it was just a joke–albeit, a bad joke.
Goddamnit, I’m an idiot.
March 14th, 2008 at 12:28 AM
The412, dude calm down. I don’t think anyone cares as much about your perceived racist comments as you seem to think they do.
No one gives a shit. Relax.
March 14th, 2008 at 3:02 AM
That MySpace page is hilarious
March 14th, 2008 at 8:33 AM
Goose – You’re probably right. When I left the office yesterday I had this odd feeling that…probably nobody would catch my reference to the now redacted Most Hated Jay post and would think I was the colossal douche. And, I don’t mind if somebody thinks I’m a colossal douche for being a Pgh sports fan or being a conservative…but I would hate for anyone to think I was a completely other kind of ass (i.e., the racist kind). Oh well…guess I need to edit myself a bit more closely in the future.
Cue the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” theme.
