So…for those of us who do not use DirecTV, we won’t see FNL until 2009? Will they show the repeats on nbc.com or hulu? Ugh…I like FNL a lot, but this doesn’t really do anything for me.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:38 AM
Whatever is Memphis going to do without their fat backup point guard?
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:39 AM
hardbody was one efficient pimp. my company isn’t run that well.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:41 AM
Why does every former professional wrestler live in Atlanta?
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:42 AM
Oh. My. God. Those. Legs. Are. Awesome.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:43 AM

April 3rd, 2008 at 8:46 AM
The Marisa Miller picture is perfect…if I scroll down the page far enough to cut off her head.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:47 AM
Thanks for not sharing the photo of the dude applying lotion to Tom Brady’s ass.
/Damn…just gave him an idea for the PM round-up.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:50 AM
I think WWE headquarters are in Connecticut.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:52 AM
spencer, i think the WWE is in Connecticut somewhere. I always wondered why all the wrestlers live in ATL?
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:53 AM
@ speencer – WCW was headquartered in Atlanta. WWE is hq’d in Connecticut.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:53 AM
well shee-it. well im shit out of ideas. but both benoit and hardbody did have ties to the WCW, which was a Turner thing, and as we all know, Turner is the Godfather of ATL.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:54 AM
tk…beat me by a second.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:58 AM
@Spencer–yes, it was headquartered here…but the PGA is headquartered in…well, I don’t know where. But all of the golfers don’t live there. Doesn’t make much sense.
But yes, as a former employee of Turner, it is the godfather of Atlanta.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:01 AM
ATL…the PGA is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. which is also home to TPC Sawgrass, and, among others, Vijay, Furyk, Ian Poulter, Luke Donald, Adam Scott and formerly Tiger live there…
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:01 AM
@Spencer–screw you for doing research.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:04 AM
atl…it’s sad, but thats from memory. nasty golf addiction.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:10 AM
Too bad about “Hardbody” it sounds like a VH1 show in the making.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:10 AM
irish will provide names and addresses of the parents shortly…
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:15 AM
why do you try and stir the pot every single day 412?
what point are you trying to prove here this morning?
Let me know, please inform me
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:16 AM
spencer, since you know so much about golf, answer me this: why the FUCK does the golf section in Sports Illustrated get its own page numbers (i.e.G01-G18)? No other sport has this. I’ve always wondered this. maybe its common knowledge, and i’m just dumb. But the people I’ve asked (2 people, including 1 guy who has every SI issue since 1985) don’t know either.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:19 AM
benji…i have no idea. it could be, and this is just a theory, because SI is affiliated with Golf Magazine (if you click on Golf on SI.com it takes you to golf.com which is golf magazine’s website) they might be including work from GM writers and want to keep it seperate from SI writers.
no idea if that’s right or not.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:20 AM
I’m deeply sorry irish. I was just having fun with, you know, you stalking Big Nuts the other day.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:21 AM
i would appreciate it if you could put that to rest please.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:24 AM
I used to be a subscriber, and they let you pick one sport to get extra coverage on. It was an insert. Could that be what you’re seeing?
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:25 AM
If you are a FNL fan and do not have DirectTV I think the fact that the show is being continued at all should make you happy. I currently have dircettv but am thinking of switching to Verizon Fios, I switched 8 years ago because Cablevision sucks ass and would not replace the cable wire to my house to correct a ghosting problem at the lower channels, the best thing about DirectTv is they just have more programming than anyone else, the worst part is you have to pay a lot to get it all. FNL episodes is not enough to make me stay. And the Football is not enough because I am lucky to be a Giant fan who has a season ticket with friends, so I am out of the house usually six sundays every year.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:28 AM
Well, the show is being continued…but I can’t see the damned thing until January.
Irish, do some research and find this Ted Kerwin guy. He pisses me off.
/just kidding
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:29 AM
Nick P, you might be on to something. I usually read SI at work. The subscription is brought in by some old guy who loves golf. So, you may be right.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:31 AM
ooo good one Nick.
ill continue looking beyond the obvious tho.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:49 AM
Why will UNC fall back to the pack? I guess you’re assuming everyone leaves?
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:05 AM
Can we get back to the true topic at hand in this thread? The legs of Marissa Miller… whew…
@412 – You are very, very picky.
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:05 AM
1. Let me second that the “Travis Ford to LSU” thing is just a rumor, and that it is inappropriate for ESPN to release it. I’m sorry for you UMass people having to go through this, because ESPN ran us through that shit during football season. How can we hire the guy when we don’t have an AD? Who’s hiring him? Of course, watch me be wrong.
2. The “50 things I hate about Fox” was good too. Again, I don’t hate certain networks. I hate the exectuives who run them in the ground and ruin sports but refuse to listen to us when we tell them they’re doing it.
3. One positive of the Walsh era – the organization will be more friendly with the media!
I should have known. It wasn’t just that Isaiah sucked. It’s partly payback for being mean to them! Just ridiculous. Oh well. Now that he’s done, maybe the media will STFU about how bad the Knicks are. Finally!
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:09 AM
Wally’s World – Don’t get me wrong…Marisa Miller has a body that could start wars. If I were sitting in a library on a Big Ten campus I could rub one out to that. But…the face is just a tad south of perfection.
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:37 AM
UNC’s recruiting class is pretty damn strong next year.
If anything it may be better (assuming at least 2 of these 3 stay: Hansbrough, ellington, lawson).
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:46 AM
@412: she definitely looks a little old but I like her face.
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:12 AM
For a second I thought that was Savanana Samson.
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:42 AM
I forgot to mention this from the UMass/LSU/Travis Ford article
If you are going to blow a journalistic raspberry on a team on the verge of one of the biggest games in school history, please either offer an iron-clad guarantee of accuracy, or provide sources for the information.
I know you are pissed, and you should be. But are you comparing playing for the NIT championship to Dr. J and your Final Four run ten years ago?
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:56 AM
Savanna Samson might be one of the hottest porn stars ever.
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:11 PM
That link about Fox Sports sucking had a way better pic of Marissa then the one used in Roundup.
April 3rd, 2008 at 1:23 PM
@Jay -
What Final Four run? Hasn’t that been completely wiped from the books?
