Yardwork: When Did They Move the ‘h’ in Front of the O?
Baseball April 26th. 2008, 2:37pm
Indians 6, Yankees 4
The Yanks and Tribe each pounded two home runs and each starter gave up 4 runs. Jhonny Peralta had 4 such RBI and then returned to the club where he bounces every Friday (because he looks like a bouncer).
Braves 6, Mets 3
Kelly Johnson had a homer and 4 RBI and Gregor Blanco had 4 hits, much to the delight of this here guy because it gave him reason to say the words “Gregor Blanco”. Braves and Mets are playing right now, FYI.
Angels 4, Tigers 3
Vlad Guererro hit a 2-run bomb and Francisco Rodriguez notched his Major League leading 10th save. The Angels bullpen shutout the Tigers for 2 1/3 innings.
A’s 4, Mariners 3
Jose Lopez out-hit the A’s 4-3, but it didn’t account for a win or the 7 walks issued by Seattle’s pitchers. Oakland’s bullpen did one better than Anaheim’s bullpen, shutting out Seattle in 3 2/3.
Dodgers 8, Rockies 7 (13)
Russell Martin was 4-4 with 2 RBI and Chan Ho Park tossed 3 scoreless relief innings earning his first win. L.A. overcame the waste of 14 baserunners.

Tough loss for your Cards dude. I joined a live glog of the game last night and the girl was out of her mind when Izzy gave up the lead.
And if you ever mention Gregor Blanco again, you should call him by his nickname Egor Blanco (I just made that up).
