Don’t We All Want Our Groins Ravaged?
NFL, Peter King April 28th. 2008, 6:00pm
A reader noted that Peter King’s MMQB column this morning contained the seldom-used phrase “groin-ravaged” to describe the career of LSU’s Early Doucet. It is true – Doucet’s groin caused him to miss five games this season. The phrase “injury-ravaged” is commonplace, but this may be the first time we’ve seen “groin-ravaged.” A tip of the cap (after we pick our mind out of the gutter) to you, PK. Nicely done.

I’d pay good money to have my groin ravaged

I’m pretty sure that getting my groin ravaged by some LSU coeds would be acceptable.

Sweet, I thought I was the only one who noticed that when I read it this morning.

PK is actually a lot better than people think. It seems like most bloggers hate him, but he’s a likable dude and I always thought his column was pretty solid.

Much like Simmons, a lot of people hate King because he is so widely-read and successful.

King can be kind of annoying, but he’s not that bad. Simmons just gets annoying because he’s such a homer (I hate the Red Sox). He just gets old and repetitive, but is entertaining usually.

Finally TBL takes on a subject near and dear to my heart.
