Tank Abbott holds a MMA record of like 9-15. If that is Kimbo’s top competition, Liddell would murder him…this is a joke that the discussion has gone on, against the top heavyweights in the UFC, Kimbo would have his arm/leg/neck snapped within the first round…Nogieura would destroy him, Sylvia would destroy him, Frank Mir would destroy him…the list goes on and on….Fedor= broken arm for Kimbo

Hey, I totally underestimated Franklin. After those Silva fights I thought Franklin was done and just fighting out his contract. I’m really glad to know that Franklin is still a legit fighter who the UFC can put against quality guys who are moving up the ranks. Franklin kind of hinted that taking another shot at Silva was pointless right now.

As for Lesnar, he’s a collegiate wrestling champion, Kimbo could be nothing more than a street brawler. And don’t forget, Lesnar almost won that fight. Kimbo and Lesnar could both be heavyweight contenders in the future. You know what they say… that’s why they fight the games. Or something like that.

Tribal, Lutter mounted Ace pretty easily and had him in an arm bar. Yes, we all knew he would gas given the time. But I don’t think that selection was that radical. Rich also disappointed me with how long it took him to go in for the kill. Anderson would have brutalized Lutter the minute he gassed.

On a side note, I’m sure since you guys are all HUGE mixed martial arts fans have heard that Liddell torn his hamstring something fierce and is forced to back out of his fight against Shogun Rua at UFC 85. Liddell is a shell of his former self, and I thin Kimbo would knock him out no problem.

Looks like UFC stepped up and replaced the fight with Hughes and Thiago â€œPitbullâ€ Alves. Should be a good fight.

@CRM- Nice call on the Lutter over Franklin fight. Lutter was just cut by UFC after losing to Franklin at UFC 83. Give up on the MMA coverage, will ya? Just busting balls, this is a solid writeup.

Cortez, he’s intriguing. Working with Bas is the best thing for him. And like I’ve said, all indications are that he’s working hard as much as anyone else.

im biased because im a fan, but it’s just the way he beats people.. i know he hasn’t faught anyone that is REALLY good, which is a fair point.. but the way he beats EVERY1 is so staggering.. just 45 seconds and the fight is over.. i want to see him against better talent obviously i just think he could take on the best of the sport and hold his own.. just my opinion..

So Dana White says that Kimbo Slice hasn’t fought anyone good enough (or just good) to warrant a UFC contract. But “wins” over Rey Mysterio and Hardcore Holly are good enough for Brock Lesnar to get a pay-per-view main card fight (and lose in 90 seconds)? I guess he truly is Dana White.
