Norman Chad: An Analogy, A Rift (or Two)
Blogging, Media Gossip/Musings May 15th. 2008, 6:00pm
The day he jinxed Mariano Rivera’s quest for a 0.00 ERA, our favorite sports humor writer offered up this brilliant analogy:
Question: Are bloggers journalists?
ZACH STILLMAN Chardon, Ohio
Answer: Let me put it this way: Just because you start cooking rib-eye steaks on your George Foreman Grill doesn’t make you an executive chef.
Next time someone asks us this question, we’re going with this. As for the two jabs at John Feinstein? Wow. Gotta love it when one big-name writer takes a swing at another. In this interview with On the DL, Chad even takes a bit of a swipe at Tony Kornheiser, invoking the Sopranos. (Chronicled here by DC Sports Bog.) Who says covering the media is boring?
