In the hockey world today, we’ve got Game 5 of the Penguins-Flyers series, but we’ve also got a rivalry that is just a little more severe. Russia and Canada are meeting this afternoon in a classic match up of Good vs. Evil. Two countries with such rich hockey histories have obviously met before.

In 1987 during a World Junior Hockey game a brawl broke out between the Canucks and the Ruskies that got so bad they had to turn the lights out in the arena to try and diffuse the situation. Eventually, the game was called and both teams were disqualified.

As far as I can tell the game is only on TSN (Canadian ESPN). It started at 1pm.
