We beg of you not to see this movie, no matter who divine Emmanuelle Chrirqui looks here … this Clay Aiken news is impossible to believe and has to be a PR stunt … America’s house prices are falling even faster than during the Great Depression … seem to be a lot of Spelling Bee fans here, but sorry, we’ll have nothing on that farce except a link in the media news and notes post later … we’ll have the Lost recap up next (OMG!!), and later talk movies …
Cousins of Ron Mexico will be live-blogging that “barbaric” Kimbo and MMA this weekend. (Miami Herald)
Familiarize yourself with Jeremy Tyler, a sophomore baller in San Diego – he’s already 6-foot-9, and they’re making a documentary about him. (Rivals)
Bill Murray’s wife wants a divorce, and she claims he’s hooked on weed and booze. (CNN)
A lot of chatter about Sasha Vujacic’s late three last night, and the impact it had on anyone who wagered on the game. (Moneyline Journal, Friends of the Program)
Officiating in the NBA has been quite bad this postseason. (Sportsline)
Terrell Owens to Pacman: No Strip Clubs. (The Merkin Sports)
Photos of some lesser-known athletes boozing it up. (Stock Lemon)

Seattle Mariners, not huge on lesbians. (Can’t Stop the Bleeding)
Here’s a look at what folks are saying about the Orlando pre-draft camp; we actually watched two games Wednesday and really enjoy them. Might write about them later. (Rush the Court)

“Officiating in the NBA has been quite bad this postseason.”
After the ‘06 finals, I just have a tough time taking a sentence like that seriously. NBA has been pro wrestling for the last 3 years; absolutely nothing would surprise me at this point.

Bill Murray on weed and booze???? no way….
May 30th, 2008 at 8:13 AM
The next season of Entourage can’t get here soon enough.

The Spelling Bee is a farce? What’s wrong with some homeschooled nerds getting their fifteen minutes?
May 30th, 2008 at 8:23 AM
A little surprised that an SNL alum’s drug of choice is weed and not booger sugar.
If you had asked me how old Murray was by looking at his picture, I would have said he’s easily into his mid-60s (he’s 57). He does look old for his age.

nada – i’d sooner watch if it were on PBS

Very classless 3 by Sasha at the end of the game, leave it to a tissue soft euro. Bill Murray is the man, and you can’t be addicted to weed, you can just like it very very much.

@TBL- how did you watch those games in Orlando? i would of loved to be able to see that
May 30th, 2008 at 8:44 AM
irish, they’re airing pre-draft stuff on NBA TV

Re: those lesbians.
One of them was/is/will be on that Tila Tequila lesbian dating show, so there’s a chance this is a PR stunt on her part.

you mean there are people who are not hooked on weed and booze? Unlucky bastards!
May 30th, 2008 at 8:55 AM

Bill Murray’s appearance on Letterman to promote Darjeerling Limited last year has reached immortal status on my DVR. Absolutely the funniest interview on Letterman I’ve ever seen.

Just when you thought Bill Murray couldn’t get any cooler… I always respect celebs who stick to the oldies-but-goodies when it comes to vices: Opium would have also been acceptable.
Also, never trust a disgruntled spouse’s diagnosis of their soon-to-be ex.

@Nick: Was. She got eliminated.
But I don’t think anyone’s watching this season, despite the fact that the girls (like this one in particular) are MUCH hotter than last year.

Just for the record:
Bill Murray on weed and booze >>>>> Bill Murray not on weed and booze.
Divorce her Bill.

May 30th, 2008 at 9:16 AM
Euntorage > Entourage… in that version Turtle and E are eunuchs who can’t spell.
May 30th, 2008 at 9:17 AM
@clown- did you have anything to do with that Cocaine Jesus being found in Laredo Texas? someone made up a statue of Jesus using 3 keys of cocaine
May 30th, 2008 at 9:18 AM
Turtle and E are eunuchs who can't spell. How’s that any different from the actual version?
May 30th, 2008 at 9:20 AM

@WCT – There’s nothing wrong with Pacman going to skrip clubs. He’s just being rebellion.
May 30th, 2008 at 10:39 AM
