A few links taking you up to the game. We’re picking Boston in seven, we made a preseason futures wager on the Celtics, and we’re rooting for the Lakers. Also just made a deal with TheBigDeal, who we’re hiring as a bodyguard when we win the lottery: If the Lakers win, he pays us; if the Celtics win the series, we have to post a photo we’d rather soon forget.

We’re not thrilled about the Breen-Jackson-Van Gundy combo – probably because they haven’t grown on us yet – so does anyone know who’s calling it on the radio? Perhaps we’ll fire up Sirius and mute the TV. At any rate, we’ll be loitering in the comments section of this post.

Because it hasn’t been said – the six days between the Conference Finals and this game hasn’t been bad at all. The league has had ample time to pump up its best rivalry. We’re all suckers for nostalgia.
