Red Sox 7, Phillies 4: JD Drew had four RBI and four hits, including a homer against the team that originally drafted him – but he boycotted them per the guidelines of his staunch Christian faith. Tigers 7, Giants 2: This is how you bounce back from a series-opening loss; win 5-1 and 7-2 the following two games. Placido Polanco went 4-for-4 with two RBI. He has a very large skull.

O’s 2, Astros 1: Even though none of you were with me last night when I said the Orioles would end up beating the Astros, I predicted the Orioles would win when the teams were tied in the top of the 10th. The O’s got a homer from Tejada-trade-piece Luke Scott to tie it in the 7th, and a game winning hit from Kevin Millar in the bottom of the 10th. Pretty sure the Astros aren’t enjoying the month of June.

Diamondbacks 11, Athletics 1: After suffering a 15-1 beating on Tuesday, Arizona returned the favor thanks to a “revenge start” for Dan Haren, who went seven innings and struck out eight. Haren also dropped a bases-clearing double because he thought it would be funny.
