Greatest Mustache of All-Time: Pat Riley
Facial Hair, NBA July 25th. 2008, 1:30pm
Giambi has nothing on Slick. The card is from the early 70s. Fist-bump to The Commission for the sweet find.
Update: In the interest of full disclosure, this card is from the 1973-74 Topps set. Hope this lack of information didn’t ruin anyone’s afternoon. If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to track down the stats from the back of the card… – CRM

Is it a terrorist fist bump?
\Obvious but had to be said.
July 25th, 2008 at 1:38 PM
I believe it’s terrorist fist jab.
July 25th, 2008 at 1:38 PM
How did Harry Reems get his own basketball card?
July 25th, 2008 at 1:38 PM
I’m sorry, but you can’t beat the Tom Selleck. It’s the gold standard!
July 25th, 2008 at 1:38 PM
Actually it’s a terrorist fist jab, not bump. Let’s get it right.

burt reynolds may have something to say about that.

Thanks Gangsta, your reinforcement helped me understand as Mike NYC’s was clearly not enough.

TBL probably went on vacation three hours ago. We’ve had an Intern Bill abortion, a Wasserman stat sheet (which I admit are growing on me), and a picture of a mustache. Fridays are the cruelest days (in your face T.S. Eliot).
July 25th, 2008 at 1:45 PM
No doubt. I made sure to post my comment at the exact same time as Mike’s(1:38). I believe that aided in the reinforcement.

Blargh, you win.
July 25th, 2008 at 1:48 PM
it’s clear TBL is at the jersey shore or delaware or something. he’ll be checking in via iphone to make it look like he’s still at home.

That pic looks like it was taken in a High School gym locker room. The LakeShow were $truggling back then

TBL is always watching. Always.

Dammit Ron, I was going to say that and then I thought it would make no sense.
July 25th, 2008 at 1:53 PM
Okay that was mean but it made me spit out my apple.

Mole you still like the Simpons? I was a fan until about 7 years ago and now everythign I hear about it says how awful it is.
Which would be understandable considering its been on for 20 years now.

My loss for taking a 2 hour lunch on a Friday. Missed all the intern Bill hate.
My $0.02: Can we lynch that guy?

i havent watched most of the last few seasons because ive either worked sundays or had other crap going on. but the first 13 seasons are pretty much solid gold. (afformentioned bear quote is from season seven)
there are reasons for the shows drop in quality, and while it has dropped, it is still better than most anything on network tv. the main reason is fox shortened the length of the show from 22 to 20 minutes to sell more ads, this cuts out the best kind of jokes, the standalone ones that arent crucial to the story. now they have to try and cram the story in to less time, which sacrifices jokes.
another issue is that they try harder to incorporate guest stars, and that they are running out of ideas, which is natural after so many years

@cbh, Stark just mentioned the O’s 2002 colapse in his article today. That was the punch.

Maybe the avowed racist shouldn’t use the word “lynch” anymore. Just a suggestion.

Greatest mustache is debatable, but it looks like he secured “greatest lower forearm hair”.
July 25th, 2008 at 2:31 PM
After Alyssa Milano, of course.

I’m a big fan of Eugene Hutz’ ’stache. He’s the lead singer of Gogol Bordello
