The Bears starting RB is from Tulane. Forte will be good, or would be if the Bears and some sort of passing game. Berrian at least kept defenses a little honest, Lloyd and Booker will not.

my point? youre fucking delusional dude. MARTY BOOKER AND BRANDON LLOYD. you’re arguing that they’re decent players, when, clearly, they are not. your qb’s suck, yet you think just because the bears have a winning record with them, theyll win this year.

guess what, they won IN SPITE of those qb’s with awesome defense and special teams…who in their right mind would kick to devin hester? and each key member of the defense has an injury history.

im not saying the bears are going to suck, there’s a chance any team (except the falcons) have a good season, but at the same time, how can you realistically be confident when your offense is so bereft of talent it’s laughable?

spencer096…Moose may have been better in his prime, but Marty Booker is better right now then Moose has been for the last few years. Berrian is a 1 dimensional deep threat with shaky hands that shies away from contact. Hester can already do that and maybe much more if he can learn how to run more then just a fly route (the only thing Berrian was actually good at). The current group they have can easily match Moose & Berrian. It won’t take much.

As for RB, they have rookie who has looked very good so far and that is the easiest position in football for a rookie to step in and start. They also have Kevin Jones waiting in the wings. Once Jones is healthy, him & Forte will split time. That’s no worse then Jones/Benson and will probably be better because Benson sucked.

So what’s your point again?

You sure you really want to make that bet? Do you realize that the Bears are 6-2 against the Packers since Lovie Smith was hired? To top that off, those 2 losses occurred in late season games when neither team had anything to play for. So the Bears haven’t lost a meaningful game to the Packers since 2003. And you’re absolutely convinced that a totally unproven QB from a bad college system is going to do better then a 1st ballot HOF QB did against the Bears? Really?

If the Week 1 starting defense stays healthy the entire year they will easily be top 10, maybe top 5. The chances of that actually happening are about 5%.

brh…moose and berrian WERE mediocre at best. but unfortunately brandon lloyd and, um, who’s your other STARTING WR again? and thomas jones and ced benson were average at best, but who’s STARTING at RB this year?
