Saw Pineapple Express for the second time Saturday night. Have to see Tropic Thunder sometime this week.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:03 AM
USA_Germany on USA right now
very early, 1st qtr
August 18th, 2008 at 8:07 AM
look, i already told all of you that Phelps is the greatest. discussion done.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:08 AM
this one won’t be close. lebron hits a 3 and it’s 14-3 USA midway through the first.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:08 AM
What does Chad Johnson spraining his shoulder have to do with his Hip?
August 18th, 2008 at 8:09 AM
@WhoDey – You have to admit he didn’t look very cool when he fell.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:09 AM
Imagine if Bolt had not hot dogged the last 15 meters, he may have gone an entire second faster. that race was ridiculous.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:11 AM
Ha. A sub-9, 100?
August 18th, 2008 at 8:12 AM
i meant tenth of a second. still early. MORE COFFEE NOW!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:12 AM
18-3 on a kobe to lebron dunk
20-3 on a cp3 to lebron oop
August 18th, 2008 at 8:13 AM
OK. They were saying with legal wind he could probably get 9.5 which is retarded.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:14 AM
so it would seem that all the drama is gone from us trying to win in basketball…
August 18th, 2008 at 8:14 AM
Then again, 9.69 isn’t exactly normal.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:16 AM
yep…and one couldn’t even be bothered by the early celebration by the guy. i think his excitement just boiled over when he saw that he crushed the field so easily.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:18 AM
Saw Pineapple on Friday. Thought it was good but not great. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it seemed slow at times.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:20 AM
please keep updates coming on the USA b-ball game. got to watch USA vs. Spain and our guys looked great. it’s fun to watch too because it’s got the star power of an allstar game with the seriousness of a playoff game.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:23 AM
@CRM: That’s a pretty hefty pun for a Monday morning… I like your style.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:25 AM
39-12. USA hitting tons of three’s.
Deron Williams rose up and tried to nasty dunk on Kaman but was fouled. Would have been highlight-reel stuff. Kaman looks terribly stiff on offense. Feel bad for Dirk – his teammates just can’t compete against the US.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:27 AM
i laughed at the hot dogging. you’re 3/4 of the way through the race and it is obvious you are the fastest sprinter on earth … yes, you should be allowed to hot dog it.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:27 AM
i am sure Dirk is showing his toughness and deep desire and drive to win!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:27 AM
Not sure I’ll be watching much of the Olympics from here on out since the star of the Games is finished.
I’m speaking, of course, of Rowdy Gaines.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:28 AM
Lebron has 16, i believe in 10 mins of play. think he has three three’s. it is an absolute bloodbath: 45-17
August 18th, 2008 at 8:31 AM
so, was Kaman born in the US and playing for Germany now? I can’t read articles on the four letter, but can look at the front page and they have a caption that his grandparents left three generation ago and his dad is angry with him.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:32 AM
but you can find him advertising the Endless Pool at least once a night.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:32 AM
USA was hitting the 3’s well saturday and sounds like they’ve found a long range shooting touch in China, finally.
that Ricky Rubio kid (17 years old I think) for Spian looked like he was auditioning for an NBA point guard job on saturday.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:35 AM
Seeing Tropic Thunder was the highlight of the weekend. The cameos/performances put in by the non-advertised stars/actors were hilarious.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:53 AM
Tropic Thunder was … interesting. I probably would have hated it had I gone in sober.
I’m pretty sure Chad Johnson injured his shoulder … six hours after taking him in the 3rd round!

“Bob Saget’s girlfriend is so young, R Kelly wouldn’t pee on her.”
- Somebody at the Saget roast
Kobe just missed his second dunk of the game.
56-29 USA
August 18th, 2008 at 8:57 AM
It’s so cute when Kobe tries to dunk.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:58 AM
It’s a crime that Norm MacDonald doesn’t have a show.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:59 AM
Assuming Kobe gets a dunk to fall one of these games, do you think they’ll lead with that on SportsCenter like they do when Candace Parker or one of the other WNBA stars “throws” one down?
August 18th, 2008 at 9:04 AM
I missed the Bob Saget roast. Is this something I should Tivo?
August 18th, 2008 at 9:18 AM
CRM – Norm’s had like three shows. Problem is, none of them were funny.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:22 AM
I usually find Norm’s dry sense of humor kind of funny. Last night on that roast, that wasn’t the case at all.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:25 AM
@ark: He was purposely trying to tell awful jokes. I thought it was funny. I love his delivery.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:31 AM
I thought MacDonald killed last night. “This man is for the birds!” The other comedians were dying.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:31 AM
And The Norm Show was funny.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:34 AM
I kind of figured he was trying to bomb it, and like I said I normally like him. Maybe I lost my sense of humor after tiling my kitchen floor all weekend.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:35 AM
@ark
Tiling a kitchen floor does = a loss of sense of humor. Your right.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:38 AM
@ark – I’m surprised that it also didn’t cause a loss of sanity.

I think people who fell out of vaginas that weren’t in the US are inherently stupid. Thusly, their economy has no influence on my income or future earning potential and should not be discussed, studied or mentioned in a non-mocking tone.

Thanks for the link to the Hilary article, now it is 10:30 and I have nothing done.
August 18th, 2008 at 11:05 AM
I love these a-hole fans who bug the shit out of an athlete and then complain to the media.
August 18th, 2008 at 1:12 PM
Bolt will run 9.59…and would have run that fast in the final without the hotdogging.
